Love the Maus. The first game I ever played in it, I got an Ace. I just drove up the middle, used a dead T-62A to cover my lower plate, angled my turret, and shot everyone I could. lol

Sad that in the last game his last shot hit the udes a fraction of a second late. If he killed him his score would have been 6.9k damage.

Maus is a great tank. I am not joking. Bought it recently, played around 100 battles with it and really liked the gameplay. I go full gold as the std penetration is parhetic (246 mm if I am correct). I have never had so much fun in any other heavy (still I only got Super Conq, 60tp and VZ 55). SQ is great when you just want to sit hull down and farm but with mouse the whole fun comes with angling. As I mentioned above I have played around 100 battles with Maus and in 3 or 4 I managed to ding 8000 or more. You can't do it with many tech tree tanks. The gun is also good. I use bond hardening, bond turbo and rammer and it pays off. I really recommend Maus to anyone who just want to have fun. Being able to outlive your opponents due to having 3550 HP is always nice.

Unfortunately, here in Asia server the mighty Maus becomes the shy Maus that refuses to make any pressure because he knows he's a meatball as everyone else is waiting for him with gold loaded.
You get tier 10 MM all the time with a lot of experienced players. Even Bond Hardening can't save you.
I recommend the 60TP when talking about new-player friendliness. It's more flexible, it can punish people harder, it can also get a lot of bounces, and most importantly, it doesn't care about the MM as much as the Maus.
use spall liner instead of rammer believe me it works, keep rammer on secondary for no arta games

Could you play with STB -1? On the index page it is rated as Good but in my opinion it is Average. Could you explain and show how to get the most out of this tank?
Very good gun depression and decent armor if you are using said gun depression to your advantage. Combined with good alpha damage and high dpm it is quite good.

I mean at least it gives the E-100 more uses. Maus might have more armor but the E-100 gets better guns (Both the 150mm and 128mm are great options for different uses)

Genuine question: Is Maus the best tank for Obj. 260 HT-15? Is there any other tanks that are better for completing this mission?
KV-4 and, especially, VK100.01 K. The VK was clearly built for that kind of mission of bouncing a ton of damage. Blocking 4.8k~ is easy with it. Look for a nice rock to cover your lower plate, angle a bit and enjoy the fiesta.

Maus or IS-4 are best choices for HT-15.
in my experience Maus is by far the best choice, I managed 10k+combined quite a few times before completing it and when I did I had 17k pure block (On Steppes map in north spawn go to where the heavies siege in upper left corner of map, cross the path but dont go all the way just angle there on the corner for some reason the ground angle there makes your turret bounce gold and ton of enemy can shoot you from there just be careful not to shoot too much yourself, you want to keep enemy alive long enough to block so its harder to do a lot of raw damage but this position is rad for block missions in Maus, I had 20k combined a few times there , good luck) Also spall liner in improved slot will stop he spam and most artas as you can bounce them

ok so maus can be penned at 330 pen everywhere but upperplate ; 310 turret cheeks,lowerplate, gunmantlet, side gunmantlet, 280 : gunmantlet, side gunmantlet, lowerplate, turret cheeks unangled, 240 : turret cheeks unangled, lower plate, 220: lower plate 200: ......
if you stand on uneven ground and have slight raised tank and hide lower plate like sidescraping the armour improves significantly, enough to bounce most gold, most people aim center of the cheek and a small rock to raise up maus can make this 325 easily with only the mantlet itself being 280, everywhere else well over 400

Huh, i just checked, and despite all that bollocks and the fact that i have 40% winrate on the Maus, apparently i'm still above average with it, how the heck does that work...
Yesterday i was on sand river right spawn and went up as a t 34-3 and was up against Obj 263 and a patriot some distance behind. Object rushed me and he lost balance and i flipped him then pushed him to my teammates while he was on his side and i kept ramming his belly. It was long and painful for him and i dont remember laughing so hard in my entire life XDDDDD
