    Welcome to the first part of the 'How to sell' series. Here I cover the importance of mindset in sales and how to get better at sales and improving your close rate.
    A big part of really selling anything comes down to confidence and the abundance mindset. Sure, sales scripts help and the way you word things helps but all of that is much less important than actually being confident in yourself and what you are selling.
    As long as you master the mindset and focus on it as a key area you will improve your close rate and subsequently grow your business.

    1. Have an abundance mindset: I don't need you, you need me.
    2. Be confident: I know what I'm doing and that I can do it. I have the knowledge to be able to.
    3. Have a growth mindset: Every situation is an opportunity to learn.

    Are there any books you’d recommend regarding the phycology of sales or marketing?

      not 100% sure about a book (don't really read sales books), but I thought the book 'NLP . - The essential guide to neuro linguistic programming' had a lot of good insights regarding mindset which you can use for sales
