This was so gentle and purposeful. Thank you for taking the time to share this with us all
I am two weeks post op and cant wait to try this in another week. Thank you!
I am so glad I found you. I kept thinking I wasn't healing fast enough. Hearing you explain while doing movements was just what I needed.
3 weeks post op today
Thank you so much!!
Nearly 2months post surgery. These movements are so good. Thankyou.
I’m 2 weeks post surgery and looking forward to using your videos in my recovery. Thank you
I'm so grateful to have discovered your channel. I did this workout in my jammies. Almost 4 weeks postop and really needed to feel like a human. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you! I'm 3 weeks post hysterectomy today and feeling good!
Same here! I've been doing this every week.
I needed this. Today makes 2 wks after robotic hysterectomy. I've been walking a lot but my groin area was hurting me bad so I saw videos and decided to give a try
THANK YOU ! Your posts address the rationale and gentle progress over several weeks. Pelvic Floor PT is not so accessible, your youtube sessions have brought a much needed support to this once active 74 yo total laparoscopic hysterectomy 1 week post-op candidate. Anxious to get strong again and avoid prolapse. Such a relief to no longer have a bulge between my labia! Still exhausted after 10 min focused movement but do move, stand, and sit across the day. Your advice is valuable
Thank you.. Absolutely love it.. Had my surgery 4 weeks ago..Shalom
I'm so glad I found your channel. I'm three weeks post hysterectomy, and I started this video today. I will continue to use it, and I'm going to look up the 10 week program you mentioned. Thank you, thank you, thank you for this content.
I'm so grateful I found you. I deeply believed in slow building up transitional excercise towards the 10 week mark, but my family thought I am too fragile. Now iam convinced iam in the right docket. Thank you
I had a minor abdominal surgery 2 weeks ago. Perfect way to begin my exercises. wish I was here after my previous abdominal surgery too. . 💜💙Thank you Jessica
I’m 4 weeks post surgery. Been watching your videos about hysterectomy and practicing from your workouts for a few years before I had the adhesions from a previous myomectomy. I had to stop doing pilates for a while because my stomach would hurt. Now after a total hysterectomy I’m glad I can enjoy your workouts again. Thank you so so much, Jessica! 😊
I am at week 4after full abdominal hysterectomy. I am so happy I found your videos. They are making me feel SO much better.
I've been nervous about doing "exercise" routines after my C-section. This was a great gentle starter to get me moving. Thank you!
Thank you so much for this workout. Currently 5.5 weeks post radical hysterectomy and felt emotional completing the workout for the first time 😊 feel good after this too
Thank you, that was wonderful. 5 weeks post op from laparoscopic hysterectomy and prolapse surgery
LOVE this - thank you! I'm 11 days post laparascopic hysterectomy and oopherectomy. I was doing Tabata and HIIT kettlebell workouts (15-25 lb. weights) for the past few years and, needless to say, NOT moving is awful. Depressing. Yuck! I've done a ton of walking up to today but I definitely need more and this is an awesome start!!
So glad I found this! I am 12 days post-op after total hysterectomy and needed to do SOMEY as I am en extremely active 60 yr old. Gym 3xwk, pickleball and several miles of walking each week. I’m afraid to do anything that engages my core but this seems very gentle and I just listen to my body for cues on understanding limits. Thank you!
I am 10 days post op and have been really struggling to find the balance between rest and enough movement! I woke up this morning in a lot of lower back and hip pain from bed rest and these stretches really helped. I’m looking forward to doing more as I move through recovery. Your insight was so soothing and exactly what I needed to hear today, thank you.
Thank you! I am 4 weeks post op and walking 10-15 km daily. This helps so much to build trust.
Thank you. That was so helpful.
I am 2 weeks post op. Thank you. I needed this video.
Thank you so much! This was extremely helpful. 😊
Thank you! I just had my 7th abdominal surgery at 32, with a TAH. The first week was brutal, but i discovered your videos at day 8 post-op. Now, at day 11, I'm already noticing what a difference the movements have made with the muscle connections! I will be recommending you to everyone!
Thank you so much wow, could really feel everything working tingling all over
Hi Jessica, I am 4 days post-surgery. I had a laparoscopic hysterectomy and bilateral Salpingectomy. This is my 4th major surgery and I am 54 yrs. (2 C-sections 2001 & 2003 and hernia surgery just last year). Your physiotherapy-based pilates for post surgery is just what I needed to get moving and build the foundation again. I am a karate practitioner for over 35 years and am looking forward to getting back to my training. Thank you for your expertise and sharing your personal experience and journey with us. It is inspirational!
It is 4am. I ran into you randomly. This was very relaxing and encouraging. I'm going back to sleep now. Thank you for making a space for mindful recovery.❤
I'm 6 days post op ladies I have never experienced such pain in my life I'm literally thankful to be alive
I agree!! I am 4 days post op the feelings are horrible!
I'm 6days after and also have pain
Me too sis I’m 3 week post op and I never experienced so much pain ever…had a hysterectomy but I’m so much better now
I understand you 😢
Same here, just thankful to be alive.😔🙏
Thank you!
Thank you
Thank you so much for that I’m 17 days post hysterectomy. This helped a lot ❤
Thanks a lot for this routine I loved it . I was looking for something like this thanks
Thank you so much.
Great job
This video is beautiful and you really understand post-op pain. Thank you
Thank you so much
3 1/2 weeks post op hysterectomy/salpingo-oophorectomy. I have felt so stiff and weak since but have been so afraid to move too much! Thank you for this❤ I just did it and it felt great😊
Your classes are awesome. Thank you!
Thank you. That. Wos. So helpful.
Thank you very much it helped me a lot for recovering❤
Thank you, adding this to my morning routine 🙏
Hi Jessica, I am 4 weeks post op and loving this exercise video. Is your 10 week exercise guide still on CZcams. Xx
this was so helpful for me to get moving again after my full hysterectomy. I was so stiff and scared to move but this workout was perfect and kickstarted my recovery
I'm glad to find your clip😊, this really help. Even i 'm 5 wks post surgery, i still scare to exercise . What i do just walk 30min a day. Now i will do more^^.
2 weeks after lapro oophorectomy and this was exactly what I needed today :)
Thanks❤
Hi there i had my surgery 11days ago. This exercised really helps. Thank you for sharing ❤ ❤❤

5 weeks into surgery felt so good doing it, so afraid of moving
3 weeks post op my doctor would not allow me to do those hip movements but especially not that side stretch. My doctor said I was doing too much already trying to go work from home too soon 3days after surgery & back to the office 3rd week. 5 week post OP check up still gotta take it easy for the next few weeks. Going 6 weeks Post Op and began some hip, leg, and arm movements. Began having extreme lower back pain from not using tummy muscles. Will be looking to get back into back strengthening next week after the new year.
This feels so good 5 weeks postop. When I tried it at 2 weeks I was definitely afraid of movement, but your advice was so helpful to keep learning how to move again. Your video is so kind, it helped me when not many people knew what advice to give - week 5 I am finally starting to feel more human. Thank you again for this!
I'm 5 weeks post op and feeling more like myself also
Thank you so much for this!
Thanku
Thank you for your videos! So helpful! I purchased your 10-week post-hysterectomy exercise plan from your website and it has been an indispensable guide. I am so grateful!
Lorinda, is the 10 week guide similar to this workout?
Same question as Brandy. Also, how many videos are included in the 10 week guide?
I had my hysterectomy at 15 years of age I was born with mrk syndrome it hasn’t been easy for me emotionally physically I grew belly fat over the years I’ve tried losing the belly fat for a long time
Thank you for these videos and for your sharing! Would the exercises you propose be safe for someone who had a vertical incision up the abdomen?
mam.im17days after my operation...when i need my excersize thnk u mam from phil.❤️❤️❤️
I didn't have a hysterectomy but i did have a bisalp. I want to get back into exercising slowly. I'm 5 weeks post surgery. Even if this is very low impact, i found it so tough to do. I wanted to go back to my regular routine at the gym in a week or 2, but i think i'll be doing videos like this for a while to build some strenght back up.
I’m three weeks post hysterectomy and am getting anxious about how my body has changed since I haven’t been able to workout or eat how I normally eat - I’m so happy to have found this workout. It both eased my panic and made me feel like I did something positive for my body. Going to check out the 10 week program 😊
Thank you so much for this. I have got extremely emotional after doing this as its the first time I have really moved my body post surgery (a part from the short walks). It is so incredible that you are sharing this information with women in need. Do you recommend gently lifting pelvic floor on exhale at this point? I am almost 5 weeks post hysterectomy and prolapse repair. Thank you again.
❤merci énormément
I'm in fourth week post Hysterectomy. This video help me alot, thank you.
I'm 3rd week post hysterectomy . Suffering constipation too.
I am in second week recovery of full Laparoscopic, kept both ovaries. Over did things my first week. Doc told me to do nothing, but I feel that will make me weaker in the long run. Accidentally seen your other video for after 6 weeks first "didn't realize that though, on meds 😣", it hurt a bit, oops lol. Thank you for this one though! Will start this next week along with small walks 🤗
What is your age melissa
I'm from India ♥️
Thank you. I had a full hysterectomy, 😮having had ovarian cancer 5 years ago, I'm all clear since 2018 but I'm still scared of doing sit ups etc. I also had a tibia plataeu fracture in 2019
Wow ladies , I am 2 week so many women responding is making me feel better already , not feeling human and s so true .
Hi Jessica! Am reliant on this workout currently it’s great! Did your 10 week programme can that be used on CZcams once purchased?
Could you please put a video for a 12 week post operative total hysterectomy and urinary bladder repair. I have backbone degeneration
Dear Jessica, I’m 7 weeks post surgery and I haven’t felt this good in years. 🎉I had a prolapse and endometriosis, similar procedure to yours. The first 4 weeks after surgery were tough but now my recovery is gaining momentum. Your 10 weeks recovery program has been a great help. Thank you so much! ❤ Love from Germany 🇩🇪, Lauren
I had a uterine prolapse too and a hysterectomy because of it. I am at my 8 weeks and I still feel fatigued and having a hard time bending. Did you had robotic surgery? I still a prolapse and I am so scared of exercising.
Im 5 weeks post hysterectomy, they took my appendix and scraped endometriosis out. My primary complaint from the start of my journey was bladder pain, frequency and urgency. I am still having that pain 5 weeks post surgery. I was hoping it would solve the problem. I am prayerfully hoping your workouts will help me. Anyone else have these symptoms??
I had a hysterectomy and bladder surgery 3 years ago I never got told that I could experience a vaginal vault prolapse and now have one. Women need to be open about our needs.
How/why do you think the prolapse happened please? So I can try and learn. I’m sorry this happened to you.
@@EnochnKale lots of reasons one I'm 62 and I put on a stone due to stress which I've now lost it. My prolapse is mild but much worse than the one I experienced before my hysterectomy to be honest I wish I'd have never had the surgery it's one of my biggest regrets
@@maryharris8939 I just had a hysterectomy 3 months ago and I’m trying to learn a lot so I don’t have any future issues. What is a stone due to stress?
I’m the same I regret the surgery too but I’ve learnt you can’t go back so now it’s about educating the girls in my family.
@lots2do100 why do you regret it? In my case Im so happy I dont have those painful long periods cause of fibroids. Is a prolapse is bound to happen?
hi jessica, can you do an episode on exercises to reduce belly fat for women who have had hysterectomy more than a year ago? as the void left in the belly area after hysterectomy allows organs to fill that void causing the belly area to get bigger or flabbier
Maybe look at diastasis recti exercises as the circumstances seem very similar? Bridging the gap in the abdominals - all the best I wish you good luck! Coach Kel is great too
Can you please do an entire sitting down arms or total body weight workout please. If you have one in your paid program please let me know. Thank you.
I had total hysterectomy last week. I have my ovaries. Can you advice what daily activities can I do and when should I start exercising to keep my pelvic floor healthy.
Thank you so much for this - wow! I’m so excited to try this! I’m about 10 days post op so I’m getting antsy but don’t want to push too hard! Edit: just did it, made me want to cry it felt so good to gently stretch and be coached through. Will be doing it every day! Thank you!
I’m 10 days post op as of today..
@@somerandom7644 hope you’re doing okay! It seemed to start getting better day 10-11, but it’s slow going. I’m trying not to push myself too much, it’s hard to listen to my body when I just want to get stuff done!
@@courtneytautges4997 thank you ..you as well , and yes I know what you mean. I felt great this morning compared to how I have been feeling so what did I decide to do? Laundry and guess where I ended up? On the couch hurt.. sigh
Has anyone purchased the 10 week course. Is it 10 videos to be watched on CZcams. And are the exercises varied please.
3 months post op. Thank you for this. I am feeling great but definitely jumped into too much activity the moment I felt ready to move a bunch at 6.5 weeks. I walked every day after surgery but didn't do any strength training during my 6.5 weeks. Bad idea. I have had to start at ground zero with my strength.
Congrats on your healing so far and I hope you continue to feel stronger!
Thank you so much Jessica. You are so easy going. I am 12 weeks post Hysterectomy but didn't do any Pelvic floor exercises. All I did is walk. No wonder I feel very tight everywhere. My upper thighs are very tight & tense. I can't afford to go to physical therapist.May God bless you for helping us.
Will these exercises help me now 10 years after my hysterectomy?
I am 3 weeks post surgery full abdominal hysterectomy there was also damage to my ureter during surgery and i have a nephrostomy on for 3 months , would it be safe to do these exercises? I did exercise regularly before surgery and would like to get back into a routine .
how about before surgery? what exercises should I do. I have a good 10 weeks to prep
Where were u 26 years ago I needed you hahahahaha I know you weren’t ready to help me 😅
Can I please do these exercises if I only I have native tissue repair for prolapse and hysterectomy?
7 days post op abdominal hysterectomy. Worst pain and experience of my life and i gave birth to 3 babies. Rest gets lots of rest and move at your own pace. Good luck ladies.
Hello,
I’m going into 5 weeks recovering. I would love to know if you offer any discounts at any time for your 10 week class that I see costs $50? Thank you if your reply
I am 4 weeks into my recovery, I am still sore. When is this safe to start?
New to your channel. Can I ask what exercises / stretches should we do to prepare our bodies for hysterectomy ?

Hi! I'm not sure exactly which program you are referring to but I have many resources for hysterectomy, including a ten week hysterectomy workout program. You can find it all here! jessicavalantpilates.com/complete-hysterectomy-guide
@@JessicaValantPilates I found it. Thank you so much!
@@JessicaValantPilates-Are these video work outs or just guides please. I’m happy to pay but I need an actual video to follow.
I'm 4 months Post op . Are these safe for me to do 😊?.
Im at 3rd week after hysterectomy and suffering constipation too😢
Can I use this for after bladder sling surgery? I had a hysterectomy, but 16 years ago. I just had bladder repair and a sling surgery.
Getting this and hysterectomy in 2 months.
Hysterectomy and prolapse fix in my future. What can I do pre-surgery to help my recovery?
Yes. Please tell us
How soon after a vaginal hysterectomy can i do these exercises?
I got operated before two months what exercise for me
I’m interested in the post hysterectomy exercises I’m 26 years post
You can definitely start anytime! Even 26 years after surgery :).
Where can I find the 10 week post hysterectomy exercises please ?
I am looking for this, too. Did you ever find it?
Hello ,
Had full hysterectomy 9 weeks ago and got clearance at 6 weeks . I’m a professional dancer so I was doing gentle exercises while time , then at 6 weeks resumed regular tech class , at 8 weeks did a full class preparation for rehearsal and by the end of day I was in so much pain and lasted whole week. So now I feel like I’m starting from the beginning and have that fear of movement that I didn’t completely have before . Is this normal ? What did I do wrong ?
Guessing your pain resolved, now in hindsight what do you think? Was it too much or do you think it was something else?
