I have to say, the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at DCA is special to me because that attraction literally saved my mother's life. It jostled her into the side fencing on her car and caused her lung to bump against her rib cage. That resulted in a pain that she couldn't figure out. She went to the doctor and found out that she had lung cancer. If she hadn't have gone to Disney's California Adventure that day, she would probably be dead today.

A few years ago we road it 13 times for my 13th birthday. A few of the times the cast members let us go through the backstage area so we didn't have to wait the whole time through.

I think the technical difficulties occurred in the 5th Dimension Scene (the scene before the drops). There was this type of technology on the elevator car; the Autonomous Guided Vehicle (AGV for short). The form of technology relies on the communication between a sensor plate fastened on the bottom of the vehicle, and a wire built into the floor. The wire sense computer signals to the vehicle, telling it where to go and how fast it should go. The problem is that since the communication between the two is extremely sensitive, that if anything were to come in between the two, the system shuts down. The place that most likely causes the breakdowns is in the 5th Dimension Scene. So with that said, I think that's the answer!
R.L Stine's Night of The Living Dummy is what the mannequin you saw behind the end of HTH always reminds me of. It's incredibly eerie and its made even more so due to it being completely inconspicuous.

You guys win the internets! 13 times? No way! 1 or 2 times at most for me! I would do 13 times on the Tommorowland Transit Authority over in MK. Great ride to just sit down and rest your feet on. Last time there we actually asked if we could ride again and we didn't even have to get off the ride first! Good times!
The best time to ride this ride is closer to the parks closing time. Everyone is usually at Fantasmic or The Rocking Roller Coaster. I once rode it 7 times in a row and I just ran through the lines!
I can't freaking wait to go and ride the tower of terror and all the other rides. I arrive at the end of January and I'm working at the parks for 8 months!

I'd do this for Star Tours - with all the various permutations that ride has, you'd at least get some slight variations on each experience. Can't beat the ambiance of ToT's queue, though.
I remember actually watching this video when it first came out....dang. I've been watching this channel for a long time! I think ever since the begging of 2013 or maybe the end of 2012....I'm coming from January 2017 right now.
I've got to try this some day. And yes, Jenn, the songs are programmed into the cars on the Rock'n Rollercoaster.

I remember that when I was 10 Years old and me and Aunt rode the Rock'n'Rollercoaster starring Aerosmith back in 1999 and they played both Dream on and Sweet Emotion, which are both my favorite Aerosmith Songs and that was awesome back then!
We ride it at least twice every time we are there. Awesome ride.
Tim's right about the "Love in an Elevator" and each limo has its own license plate that read something and it plays it's own song. For example if you got Nine Lives then the license plate said "1QKLIMO"
I Rode Tower Of Terror In 2015 While I Was Down There. After I Rode That, It Almost Tied My Favorite Roller Coaster Griffon @ Busch Gardens Here In Williamsburg VA. Griffon Is A Head By A Point. But Tower Of Terror Was Fun.
Rock 'N' Roller Coaster is probably my favorite in Disney, then it's the Dinosaurs ride.

The different songs in the rock and roll rollercoaster is true. The imagineers have a remix of some songs and they are programmed into the SUPER stretch limo.

Tim at the end of the ride, where you get off you can ask someone at the exit : an I ride again- and they will take you through a hallway and through a door ride back to the loading station with no wait.. -- it's something I do wen I go
13th view so nice. I like Christmas at Disney but it is way toooo crowded. Ya'll really need to make Tshirts with your sayings. so nice, good times and now its time to pay the price. etc.
We always got the back ( row one ) for some reason then my dad told the guy that we were going to buy the photo so the cast members were so nice about it and gave us the front ! The photo was great too we just didnt want a photo of hands in our faces 😂

As far as I know, the WDW Rock 'n' Roller Coaster has the same soundtrack each time (I went in 2006 and haven't looked into it much recently, so it could have changed or something) - Disneyland Paris is the one which definitely has different soundtracks for each train.
I know I'm late to the party, but each train plays a different song at WDW! :)

The hidden Mickey on the tower of terror is in the beginning. When they are showing you the preview of the movie look at the little girl. When they are going into the elevator notice she is holding a Mickey doll. That's the only one of know of on that ride hopefully it's helpful
It's true. Each coaster vehicle has different songs. You can tell the difference by the license plate on each one.

When we went to Disney my son got sick and had bad nausea all day the day we went to DmGmS. My wife gave him a nausea pill that then made him sleepy, too... So, I managed to get him onto Star Wars and the Movie Ride to see the Alien, but he was sacked out when we got to the Tower so he couldn't stay awake to stand in line. He missed a great ride. :(

New challenge! The star tours lucky 7 challenge! Ride 7 times and try to get all 7 destinations (before rogue one) and to be really lucky, get all destinations twice! ( i rode about 7 times and got Genesis twice, and never got Jakku)

The limos actually do have different songs to play but they're all different
