DONCASTER ROUND-UP

Hello DONCASTER people!
It's been a while I know, but finally the DONCASTER ROUND-UP video is here!
Using information that's been sent to me by all you lovely people out there, this is the video that catches all those comments and anecdotes and whatever else you wanted me to talk about, that I either missed or got wrong in the 43 parishes of DONCASTER!
In alphabetical order, I go through the borough, detailing anything and everything you guys wanted me to! I love putting your areas on display and I've enjoyed every single one of the Doncaster parishes, they're all unique in their own way!
It's taken me six months to get through the entire district. It is such a varied part of the country, taking in things like coal mines, open farmland, waterways, some amazing buildings, some excellent nuggets of history and above all some awesome people! Thank you for letting me put your areas on display, and making Doncaster stand out!

Hey Andy, I'm curious what your mission is for this channel. Is there a Civil Parish for every square foot of England or if not, is there a specific reason why you chose to explore only Civil Parishes? Is central London included? it would make for long videos since it's the capital, but it would be very interesting to see its history and trivia.
I think your channel is very interesting, every little town has it's own unique quirks and folklore! ;p
Perhaps once you complete all of England you can move onto France xD

Interesting questions...I'll do my best to answer your questions in the order you asked:
So the mission for the channel is cover all 10,499 CPs, and when I say cover, I mean literally just visit them. That's been the point of the mission since the start. I just include information about them to make it more interesting for viewers really.
The reason its just CPs is because the vast majority of them, a good 90% if not more, are villages. There's no end of videos out there which cover towns and cities, but my mission is to put these smaller places on the map more than anything else. For that reason, I won't cover every square foot of England, but it won't be far off because there aren't that many unparished areas (they tend to be big cities).
Central London has ONE CP - Queens Park - and that'll be the only time I venture into the capital. There's a whole host of CZcamsrs out there that cover London in various forms, anyway, so it would almost be line rehashing their work.
As for France...believe it or not France is split into areas (called "communes") which are very similar to our CPs. I can't remember the exact number but I think it's something like 34,000...I reckon I've got enough in England though to begin with haha!

@@TheVillageIdiot Ah I see, that makes sense. Also something you've probably already considered but I'll bring it up anyway.
Be sure to stay safe on your journies! While it seems that most places are so peaceful that you can leave out newspapers for sale and people just leave the money on a park bench without it being stolen.. If you're covering almost the entirety of England the chances of you running into someone who fancies a free camera and wallet might be more a question of WHEN rather than IF. Maybe if the situation seems sketchy you can carry a cheaper camera and a dummy wallet with only £5 ;p
