Hartlepool Bombardment

I Learned about the bombardment of Hartlepool and read that it was a war crime due to the innocent loss of life and thought I would make a short video showing some archive photos etc from that fateful day in 1914

Kevin,not your run of the mill vlog. As a nation over the past few days, we have looked back to the "D" day landings, hopefully taking the time to reflect on the savage & sad loss of life. In war the forces expect injures and death, if not their own but friends and comrades. Many saw the Blitz, which we know were brutal and frightening. What you have shown today is truly horrific. And sadly unknown to me. To view the might of 3 large ships, so close to shore, blasting a shower of death and destruction on the innocent civilians. Even now you're ashamed of what people have done to other humans. A very tastefully shot, respectful and thoughtful video. Many thanks Kevin. Supurb work keeping the memories alive Allan&Family

Thanks for your comments Allan and yes its shocking how people can can inflict such horror and so sad , I felt I had to share this video as I know its not known to a lot of people and even though I know it probably won't get a lot of views its there if anyone wants to know what happened on that awful day .
