Congrats on about to be married if you haven’t already. This vid about a month old. So I’m sure it’s happened now.
I actually have a car audio question. Slowly in the midst of upgrading my 1998 Mercedes Benz CLK 320 sound system and was curious as to what you would suggest to install in the rear parcel tray as I currently have the stock 6.5' woofers in there. I currenty have the Focal 165AS3 3 way component system awaiting install. Just want suggestions on what single din headunit, amplifiers and rear speaker/ woofers i could look at. Looking for sound quality plus a bit of base. Thanks
In regards to the rear speakers I would look at putting in the matching 6.5” coaxles for the best front to back blending. Always sounds better than having two different steps of speakers in the car.
Those speakers are all relatively sensitive if my memory serves me correctly... so you could if you wanted power them straight off the deck power, otherwise a good quality 80-100watt x 4 amp will work well.
Keep in mind that it’s been a while since I was up with the current trends in car audio regarding what good products are out there, but I’ve always loved pioneer and alpine head units, Rockford Fosgate and alpine amps (power and pdx range) and sound deadening is definitely a must if you’re wanting bass and don’t have a subwoofer.
@@caraudioetc thanks for the help mate. Muchly appreciated. If I go a set of coaxials for the rear, would I be able to run both that set and the front set of a 4 channel or would I need a seperate amp for both?. Will definitely look into alpine headunits. Thanks for the help again
