I wonder if there will be something in the way of recreating all the tones. Trying to recreate them all must completely Drain You.
Recreating them is a lot of work. I say stay away. Of course, maybe those constraints will breed some creative solutions.

Well I mean, if you must but even in his youth he was great at guitar, so don't give yourself an Anuerysm and play Dumb and don't Milk it, or you'll have to go back to School, so All Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
P.S: it might be a bit of a Downer but don't give yourself Paper Cuts over a Beeswax Stain, so Stay Away and don't Turnaround you Son of a Gun!
And don't Dive into unknown territory or you'll encounter territorial pissings, you should just stay Endless and Nameless or you'll become a Negative Creep!

your strumming is seriously perfect. so refreshing hearing the intro to smells played right.
Even if the competition wasn't used a whole lot on the album, and not used at all in this configuration, this still sounds wild! I love it. Great job again!
Thank you so much my friend!! I agree that it most likely wasn't used that much on album, it feels like a strat heavy album. But this is the set up/configuration I would use if I were to play the entire album live with a tribute band 😊

Damn man this is freaking awesome, I know that is quite impossible to recreate 100% the Nevermind tones, but you with just one amp, pedals and that mustang (also one of my dreams), made a perfect job, it's what I've always dreamed about, I tried your configuration with amplitube and my regular stratocaster and it sounds fantastic, thank you, as always, your work is amazing ❤

I recently moved from my childhood home were I grew up listening to Nirvana while taking walks to clear my head after full hard days. Eventually I started watching youtube videos on my favorite band and came across your videos recreating Nirvana live tones, guitars ect. It serously inspired me to pick up an old silvertone I inherited from my grandmother, the thing hadn't had it's strings changed since the 70's and sounded exactly like the stella harmony Kurt played. I've been playing guitar for two years now and still rock Nirvana as my number 1 most listened to band. I moved about 1 1/2 years ago and every time I turn one of your videos on it reminds me of the best days of my life, getting into music, talking long walks in my quiet neighborhood listening to Aneursym, In Utero, Nevermind, Bleach and all the above. Truly your channel means lots to me, honestly it's a gateway into my childhood and early teen years as well a memory of my old home and family, thanks for putting out so many amazing video's man, you're truly an inspiration

But I did want to ask, was there a certain diagram you followed to have the switch for the bridge pick up to go from single coil to full hot rails mode? I’ve been thinking about doing the same thing to my mustang.

This is my favourite album from Nirvana, maybe off all time. Can you recreate You Know You're Right tone next plz?
on my cheap guitar days i used to have a 10 watt yamaha amp and a yamaha pacifica 012, some months later i got a boss gt-1 and i liked playing nirvana with that gear, i discovered that the yamaha pacifica 012 has a humbucker that sounds a LOT like the studio version, if you could experiment with that it would be great!

As some other users here, I would love to see the wiring scheme to your mustang for the single coil split on the hot rails and maintaining the 'out of phase' switch to the neck pickup. If it's not possible for you to do it, could anyone please help us with this?

Sure, anybody could have a good sound with the right guitar and right pedals… but for it to sound ultimately good takes lots of skill, and you got it.
Is it the Bridge OR Neck Facing Coil you have ON @ the HotRails?
BTW, IF you don't use the tone control then a good idea would be to replace it with a four way rotary switch that gives you the FOUR pick up tones like the four-way mod Tele switch ...IMHO
I absolutely LOVED my Electro-Harmonix Poly Chorus. But I didn't take the "OVERLOAD" indicator seriously...and completely fried the thing. She went out in a blaze of glory. And at $200 I couldn't afford to replace the board so I ended up getting a Small Clone instead. There was something else I wanted to add but can't remember. Oh well, whatever...NeVeRmInD.
You need to pick up something like a Glarry to do the authentic Endless, Nameless if you catch my drift
Nah fam, I can almost guarantee we are not close by, but every song was perfect. If I were to learn guitar I would want it to sound like this, I wish I had a guitarist like you let alone a guitarist in general lol

if your looking to recreate the tone to frances farmer will have her revenge on seattle i think this guitar will be good the the squishy distorted tones we hear i have my own hot rails and thats what it sounds like to me and also love the comp stang
