try this put the distortion pedals first and the modulation pedals after if you put the pedals in that order it gives it a more nirvana tone

Man I wish your channel was a thing in the 90’s… I loved Nirvana and desperately tried to learn their songs, on my Squier and crappy amp. I could have bought a Hagstrom like this (or an Aria like the Epiphone Kurt used) but thought they weren’t good guitars… I totally would have had an easier time had I known what you freely post up here, so thank you!

The Vintage model has significantly more in the mid-frequency range and therefore more warmth. It sounds more organic and is more pleasant to listen to.

What chord are you playing on pats guitar?

This is not me trying to be an asshole or a “know-it-all”. But, I don’t believe Kurt used His Sansamp at the Brazilian shows. There is a shot near the end, right after Territorial Pissings, and You can see His effects boxes. To my eyes I can clearly see His DS-2 on the right, and on the l left you can see a shiny silver box which we can safely assume is the Echo-flanger to His left. (Also right as Kurt walks by His effects boxes, You can see a box next to the Echo-flanger which I’m almost 100% sure is His Small Clone) But, at least to my eyes, I can’t see His Sansamp next to the DS-2 which is most likely were it would be. It appears to just be his lone DS-2 going straight into his Guitar. (I apologies again if this came off as annoying or snobby) Other than that, AMAZING video, you always make great uploads.

Do you think it's also that amp cause I have these pedals and it's close but not quite. I'm running them threw a positive grid spark that has really good pre made nirvana tones

I think its cool you have all those Kurt guitars. I love my Fender Jaguar. My friend got a Jagstang we staired at it with awe. Lol I went a different route I got 15 amazing guitars.. I also own a grunge pedal.

Hey there. I was watching a full recording of the live show at Roskilde festival in 1992, and i saw that Kurt Cobain was playing a black straticaster that i havent seen before. I have a Boss ds2 and a small 25 watt amplifier, what settings can I use on the ds2 to make it sound similar to the sansamp?

Wow that’s interesting maybe this explains Dave’s weird drum kit here. For years I’ve thought this was his Tama Kit that he used for unplugged based on the sizes. But the shells are different. His unplugged kit was like greenish blue. This one seems like a pattern. It also has Remo Pinstripes on the Toms which I’ve only seen him use during this performance.
