This build took 45 labor hours to complete! It is without a doubt the most labor intensive replica I've done to date. Every guitar I make, I always try to outdo myself, and this guitar shows it!

@@ninevoltromeo I don't know what is it supposed to prove or show? Yes, in the video you linked James is playing the exact guitar I mentioned and which was recreated here: Hetfield's Electra V which is a cheap Gibson Flying V copy. Yes, it has an Gibson truss rod cover- the information about James having bought it from a guy who attached a Gibson truss rod to his copy is also mentioned- the truss rod/Gibson logo who had many people confused as to the real maker of the guitar.
PS I am sorry if I wrongly thought you were coming at me being like 'LOOK, IT'S CLEARLY A GIBSON!' if that wasn't your intention and you were sort of confirming my point- it's just that people often do that when they provide absolutely no context at all ;)

Nice to see you're back, I've been obsessed with modifying shitplanks since I first saw "How to make a cheap guitar awesome" back when I was 15 all those years ago. You proved that it IS possible to polish a turd. My wallet wants to say "fck you" but I want to say thanks for introducing me to this world of guitar customization.
