Terrific review. I traded in a 2002 Odyssey with only 187K on it to a 2022 Pilot Special Edition. Most of your comments apply to the SE as well. Good luck on your adventure in your new SUV.
Thank you Al! I have to admit that I miss my Odyssey, but the new Pilot is a great vehicle. If the new Odyssey was available with all wheel drive, I may have made a different decision…

So does the black addition come with trail hitch?
I have a 2020 Highlander platinum and essentially no hitch.
Wanted to get the pilot either fully loaded or the black addition.
@Bkarson777 - no! I wish it did, but I’ll be adding the OEM Honda hitch and wiring harness soon, and filming it as a DIY video. Stay tuned!
@@MikeFyxdt thanks so much for responding ill def subscribe. Toyota claimed they would come up with a solution but haven't followed up in over a year. The other option was after market. I think you would lose the ability to use kick sensor but I'd be willing to lose it.
@@Bkarson777 The Honda trailer hitch installation kit includes a bracket so you can relocate the foot sensor for the rear tailgate. At least I think it’s included… If it doesn’t come with it, then it is available separately. No need to go without the foot sensor!
By the way i once worked as a pilot .. . For real!!! My job was to take that plywood from here and pilot over there! 😮

Yes, it seems the SUV manufacturers are in some kind of cup holder competition with each other! If everyone drank that much we’d spend more time taking potty breaks than driving. 😂 Brian, check your subscription notifications. I’ve had so many people tell me they’re not getting notified! If you want to get all notices, the notification bell should be solid, not hollow. In the past year CZcams changed how they notify subscribers, significantly reducing the notices they post. Frustrating. 😖
why does the lights flicker
Great question Dominic… normal LED lights pulse on and off, unlike incandescent lights which always appear on. The human eye can’t see the pulses - it appears continuous to us. But when a camera uses a shutter speed different than the LED pulse rate, it causes the flicker that you’re seeing. If I changed the shutter speed, the flicker rate would change, too. I also used speed effects in the video that emphasized the flicker.
It’s the camera , and LED will film this way
