Very nice indeed, love the way you use other items to form the wands, but love your paint blending, it's just amazing... thank you for sharing and I make all my wands with only wood but seeing this, gave me easier ideas so thank you again...!! Also for showing the paint blending techniques...!!!! The wands are amazing and just started to watch so... AMAZING!!! Also from Canada too. so yes!!

Harry Potter's wand was 11" long, made of holly, and possessed a phoenix feather core. This was described by Garrick Ollivander to be an unusual combination of wand core and wood. The feather was donated by Fawkes, Albus Dumbledore's phoenix.
Ronald Weasley's second wand was 14" long, made of willow and had a core of unicorn hair. The wand was manufactured by Garrick Ollivander. This wand seemed to suit Ron better than his first wand, which he had inherited from his older brother Charlie.
Hermione Granger's wand was 10¾" long, made of vine wood, and possessed a dragon heartstring core. The wand was manufactured by Garrick Ollivander sometime before Hermione's education at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

I just found your channel , and I’m absolutely astonished at your talent and creativity 😍😍😍 , I’m considering making some of these wands for myself now . I was wondering though if I could use air dry clay for Harry’s wand as well though ? Or if you tried that and it wasn’t that good?
Yes, you can definitely use air-dry clay for Harry’s wand as well. I was just experimenting with different materials. I recommend using DAS Modelling Clay because it doesn’t crack when it dries.

The clear liquid is varnish. I used a matte finish. Good luck on your wand!😊

These are awesome! I'm going to attempt to make the Harry Potter wand using your tutorial. Question if you don't mind me asking...Around the 2:46 mark, are you using sandpaper to remove the glued toilet paper? I was curious if you left the toilet paper on or if you only applied it with the glue to give those streaks and then removed it (after it dried) with the sandpaper? Thank you so much for sharing this!
Thanks for watching!😊 I applied the toilet paper to add texture and tie everything together. I left the toilet paper on. I sanded it very lightly (after it dried) to smooth out the rough edges.

Your art is absolutely mind blowing. I still can't get over the Nimbus 2000 video. I've managed to make 2 out of the three, still struggling with the Hermione Granger one. The Das material won't stick to the wood, any tips?
Maybe the clay is too dry. Add a litle bit of water to moist and soften the clay and to join the pieces. Keep the clay sealed in a bag to prevent it from drying. Hope this helps!

Quick question the toilet paper after it dryes, stays solid or it might fell of if I sand it to hard?
After it dries becomes very hard. It doesn’t fall off. I sand it lightly just to smooth out the rough edges.

Where did you buy the chopstick from? I can’t find a long chopsticks exactly like yours.
I bought those at Walmart for around $1.00 CAD. It came on a package of 3 pairs (6). In case you don’t find them you can use wood dowels and sand them to the desire shape.

Yes, the clay has to dry first. It usually takes about 24hrs to fully dry. I used Das air-dry modelling clay.
How long the chopsticks should be? So that I can make any character wand with it?
The chopsticks that I get are 14 inches. You can cut them out if you want a shorter wand.
Where can I get long wooden sticks?
I used long bamboo chopsticks (14.2 inches). I got them from Walmart.
Hi ... While using the das clay you need to bake it or not?
No baking required! Das clay is an Air-dry clay. It takes about 24 hours to fully dry.

Hi what pattern did you use for hermione wand I really want to make it but I don't know the pattern
Hi, I didn’t use a specific pattern. I just tried to make it look as close as possible to the original. It’s easier to start by wrapping around a “string” of clay making a spiral and then add the smaller branches and leaves.
