About The Nanny:
Fran Drescher stars as Fran Fine, a street-smart young woman with a face out of Vogue and a voice out of Queens who stumbles onto the opportunity to become nanny to the children of a wealthy widower, Maxwell Sheffield. Soon Fran, with her offbeat nurturing and no-nonsense honesty, touches Maxwell as well as the kids.

No one could have played C.C. better than Lauren Lane. In fact the whole cast were awesome together.
I think the cast and how well they played off each other is the main reason the show was so successful and remains so iconic, i watch scenes from other sitcoms old and recent and they're absolutely not funny, the nanny still makes me laugh 20 years later.
@@AP-ts3lf you are definitely right in how they were brilliant in playing off each other. Also their characters matched the feel of the Nanny series. It was as if they were on the same note.
👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾
Yeah, she's very underrated
@@shaungordon9737 I don't think so, I see comments about C.C. in almost every video.
That ending with CC screaming is just freaking hilarious 😂
You just had to love C.C lol. She was great.
That was fantastic...😄😄😄
You have to live Lauren lane, how she was fully into having her character no matter how silly it would look. She put the right amount of seriousness, and comedy into her role
U
YAAASSS!
C.C's reaction to hearing Fran over the intercom is probably her nightmare of always hearing and seeing Fran everywhere
That was hilarious! 😂
Fran: “Just close your eyes and pretend that you’re dead.”
Only Fran can take a line that’s normally eerie and turn it into an alluring compliment. 😂
👍🏻👍🏻🤣🤣
I actually had a moment like that with a friend. She was studying in Madrid and I was living in Heidelberg so we met in Paris. We were going to the catacombs and I was worried about how many steps there were on the way back up because of how far underground it is. So she said, and I quote…
“Just focus on the dead bodies and everything will be okay.”
1:44 "I'm thrilled! I love it here, they treat me with a lot of respect, it's a whole different experience..."
*"MISS FIIINE!!!!"*
"Merry Christmas, Maggie. Happy Hanukkah, Ma. And congratulations on your new job, Fran." That just gets you into the holiday spirit with the holidays around the corner, eh?
CC is sooo funny😂
I would say always a bridesmaid never a bride but she gets married finds out shes pregnant at the same time
This show is like my fave comfort food... I can't live without it. Both Fran's reaction @3:59 and CC's "Nooooooooooo" had me in stitches 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Love The Nanny. Has anybody notice that the actor who played Fran's boss at the mall was the same that played Niles doctor when he has the heart attack, and the same that was minister in Fran and Max wedding?
Multi task person!
Indeed, thank you :)
@@PetrolHeadBrasil 🤣🤣🤣👍
Also, the person who showed CC the ladie's departement is the nurse at the hospital, when Fran lost her memory, also a nurse when Fran had allergy.
Oh my you're right!
The manager also officiated Fran and Maxwell's wedding 😅
Yes, you are right. I was so busy to figure out in which episode I saw Fran's colleague, that I missed to figure that out.
Maybe he got fired from the store.... LOL
And was Niles’ doctor when he had that heart attack.
@@1sloo now I lowkey wanna watch a series just him job-surfing LOOOOOL
And the girl Fran had lunch with is the nurse when she gets the allergic reaction
We all laughed at CC's expense in the 90s. But decades later i feel badly for her.
She is the Lucille Ball of that time period 💯
Fran Fine shouted out Manolo Blahnik before Carrie Bradshaw existed 😎
So true!
C.C. screaming. No new lingerie for her, lol. If Niles was there, he would have had the time of his life watching her scream and fall. Lol.
He’d be flipping
What is so wonderful about this writing is that you know exactly what happened off-screen without having to sit through it all. The short vignettes sketch Fran's world in very few strokes.
When her new boss yells "Ms. Fine!" 😂😂
Max is like “only I can yell at her” when her boss says “MISS FIIINE”
I love Fran’s outfits for being so fresh and diversed. BUT I do admire CC’s classiness.
I don’t remember that scene with CC running out of the lingerie department dressing room 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yeah! I was going to say, that I haven't seen that scene before.
@@MS-sj7zx Actually this scene did appear on Cozi TV when Max told Fran he loved her over the microphone which CC overheard and that scene cut short before CC screams, you hear her yell a little before the part faded quickly.
Tap the head "Is this thing on?" so great 😂😂😂
I know some people, where I want to do that too 😈
Yes
C.C. was so loud that Fran and Maxwell heard her
I just noticed that lady that worked there is the same lady that played the nurse from the hospital when Fran had the allergic reaction!
The rabbi who's also the store supervisor.
Lmao CC That was so funny
No!!!!!!!!! 😂 CC is hilarious 😂
C.C. having to deal with the inevitable always was hilarious.
3:59 C.C. screaming.
Every one of the cast members was extraordinary
tbh she's gotten a new job like 80 times 😂
One of my most favorite lines from the whole series is from this episode:
"Would the woman who left her Armani sunglasses at the makeup counter please... bring the case?"
That line was epic 😂
Love them so much!!
CC is so funny on the nanny
C.C.: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Sorry CC. She just wanted to hear from him out loud.
Poor CC that was hilarious
I remember watching this episode in the re-runs in our country. ❤️
The best! 🤣
I feel like I have this Mandela effect thing happening because I've never seen the end where cc runs out of the dressing room. If I remember correctly, you would hear the scream but then it would cut into commercial?
You are correct. When I would watch the show on Lifetime, the episode would cut off before they showed the scene of CC screaming in the changing room.
Syndication is known to cut stuff randomly, so I wouldn't be surprised. The DVD set has the full scene like this though.
Nope. That scene was always there
Best ending ever❤️❤️😂😂
😀🤣😂👍 I just notice the store manager also played the Doctor when she had to shave maxwell
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
That was AWESOME!!
Maxwell was so taken with her already 😍 probably because she kept him on his toes that he literally didn't know what to expect next! She intrigued him and was certainly never boring! In episode 1x2 he said she was the most exasperating woman and in another episode he said she should have come with an owners manual 🤣🤣🤣!
He was always so insanely jealous of the men she dated from her first date after being hired the one with the soap star! And when she dates the undertaker 😮
When do you think they began to start falling in love ?
I think for Fran it was episode 1x18 Sunday in the Park with Fran when Mr Sheffield kisses her for the first time because she gave an amazing review of his show saving his career!
I think for Mr. Sheffield it was 2x15 Kindervelt Days when he shows up at her camp reunion and rescues her from embarrassment by pretending to be her man and they dance for the first time!
What are your thoughts?
I really like your analysis. It's accurate (you even remember the names of the episodes) and nice to read.
I agree, Maxwell always acted kind of jealous with Fran's dates. She was the opposite, at least when he dated Leslie ("Fran twin sister") and Cindy (the girl that turned to be a lesbian).
The episode when Max came and pretend to be Fran's date could be one interesting. I don't know if he loved her already, but care enough to make her evening more friendly and likely.
I guess Fran always was interested in him, he was a good candidate from the beginning. But it's true, she was surprised when he kissed her after the good review of the play.
I love The Nanny.
YEP! THATS WHAT A MAN WANTS for him to be HOOKED! 😉😁😊👍🏾
MY COMFORT, FABULOUS SHOW! 💗💗💗
Cc rules it.LOL.
After recently having seen the first episode of The Nanny, I feel bad for C.C. because Maxwell DID flirt with her
When did he flirt with her?
-pretend you are dead 😂😂😂 che trovata
La nanny tenía mejor guarda ropas que la secretaria de su patrón jaja besos mil !!!
CC is just gorgeous 😍
Nooooooo.....🤣🤣🤣🤣
3:58 sounds like an animal being disembowelled.
Fran is a genius by closing his eyes and using the telephone
It is an intercom system. This is the reason that C. C. and everyone else heard what she said.
Niles would have been in heaven in that store. His OTP took a step forward, and CC was miserable.
so when did that guy go to medical school and become niles' heart doctor?
C.C needs help because maxwell will NEVER love C.C
She got Niles hahahhaha
She wouldnt give up a crumb for him anymore. She loves niles truly
This was a terrible compromise. She could’ve gotten more out of him if she held out longer. But hey, at least she got him with the intercom.
3:59
💕😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣😂
♥️♥️😂♥️♥️
I forgot all about CC
Es como si el señor Sheffield se muriera no tiene sentido 💛💙♥️🤔🤓
8.
Fran obviously can work but has no work ethic at all
WATCH CC!!! 🤭😯😳😟😁😊😃
C.C. was beautiful, she just didn't have a personality that many could live with.
Hi hey likeit
