You’re welcome!
The Sacagawea bit at 3:03:00 is classic
Sameeeeee!!!
A O River has been my ringtone for years now. Always makes me laugh
They find such a great balance between biting satire and genuine love of the city
I... don't think they... uh... know what, nevermind.
@@davesmith3023 Gotham?
@@calsavestheworld😂👍
They should have pickled that...
@TheDelNoah Fred lived there for a while, I think he likes it.
Every character Kumail plays is gold!
Silicon Valley was great lol
Dude is perfect for Portlandia. Love his characters.
LOL my favourite 80 plates aroudn the world
I love the cell phone skit from season 1. I was actually selling cell phones in a Costco kiosk when this show aired and I've never laughed so hard at how ridiculous and how true the experience he provides is....
We don’t have cheeseburgers 😂
This was the funniest shows of all time. It's spot on in it's parody of urban progressives and white upperclass behavior, passive aggressive cruelty ect.
“etc.”?
@@steverogers7601he gave himself away…
This is what Portland was like in the old hipster days. Well done.
"Dear Kath,
We never decided (at least I think), what "A-O River!" means. Forgive me, but, you know, you've forgiven me before for not getting it right. At least we had a good time. This was really life-changing.
-Hopefully I'll see you in the near future.
Yours,
Dave "King River"
Haha, you know what I mean"
I was one of the gutter punks 20yrs ago. Life has changed. That life did get depressing sometimes but was also the most free I've ever felt and probably most fun I've had when it was fun. Lived in Austin Texas too. My two favorite cities back then, Portland and Austin.
I was way too nice to stay living that way though, was getting eaten alive by the more sociopathic types so stopped doing it. It got lonely but when I found a partner it was great
I wasn’t exactly gutter punk but something similar, and life is so much better these days.
I do miss the freedom, the adventures, and the wild people I’ve met but honestly, that life was not good holistically.
You’re right about the loneliness. I’d be with “friends” and random folks but would absolutely feel no togetherness despite everything saying how awesome it was to be a community.
Having financial stability is great, consistent care of my physical and mental health is awesome, and being in a loving and caring relationship is such a blessing.
@steverogers7601 Glad you are doing better nowadays. It was fun but yeah, lonely and it was never sustainable. Whenever I see someone dressed like I used to dress I still get excited 😊 want to go see a show sometime, never could afford that back then, not often anyway
I still miss Portland and plan to move back with my daughter. Loved that city so much and planned to go back since I left almost 20 years ago
9:22 the look of confused betrayal on Fred's face as Carrie embraces the menu chaos
Yes! They did this at the cell phone store too. Carrie eventually just gives in and Fred is so betrayed.
It's clear Kumail Najiani was destined to make it big....I bet half his lines are improvised and the skits aren't supposed to go as long as they do....the cell phone guy from season one is also hilarious....
I love that Fred is super dismissive and wants to just get on with the cell phone purchase or the food order and Carrie always gives in to the other options and Kumail compliments her choices.....
Absolute comedy gold
I'll take the pink bitch glasses
Thanks so much for uploading these ❤
No problem 😊
Dito
i would love to see a compilation of portlandia sound effects.. the bonks and squeaks when they move their glasses, or the giggles that sound like babies lmbo... i love every detail of this style of humor. i remember when fred came to snl.. i was 23. JAIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The “ around the world in 80 plates” w Kumail , might literally be the FUNNIEST comedy sketch along w maybe some The Office stuff… it’s brilliant , zany satirical , almost relatable situations.. I literally always belly laugh during that scene.. amazing writing here
you didn't fully ... order... yet😆
the way he & fred are trying not to smirk half the time
This is the way kids in high school talk, like how the older brother’s friend in your neighborhood would talk.
This scene was hilarious but reel it in.
@@steverogers7601 excuse me you loser?? Lol
@@steverogers7601 you sound like an absolute tool
My favourite skit ever is Battle Star Galactica, simply because of Carrie's scream. 😆 I just friggin love this show. I've watched many of times back to back. Now I'm able to enjoy my lazy work days
I remember doing that same kind of binge with House of Cards.
Watched all night, called out of work and just chilled once i finished the season.
Worth it although I didn’t need more than a day to finish it.
I love the table reading bit, and the dynamic between Ron and his wife
The fact that they used children’s laughter for a adult woman, has never, and will never leave my mind.
Pickle that
³3
Burn me once with tea, shame on me. Burn you twice in your own mouth, shame on everybody INVOLVED.
Y’all thinking Hugh Laurie is just House- how about a Bit of Fry and Laurie! One of the best comedy duo shows of all time. This guy is an acting genius
wait what, is he in this show or something? I didn't see him anywhere...
28:58 I’d buy literally anything Jeff Goldblum would try to sell me
I think we’ve arrived 😏
The way she pronounced s/he literally killed me 😂
Portlandia is a goated show...first thing I ever saw on Netflix
It’s not.
But it’s a genuinely underrated show given how it wasn’t even that huge or that talked about when it was in its prime.
Kinda like what happened to The Thing, Shawshank Redemption, and The Wire: folks didn’t initially appreciate it for what it was until years later.
Allergy Pride Parade!!!
Portlandia would be my choice to take to a deserted island, haven’t chosen my books yet.
Portlandia, Seinfeld, American dad, south park, and Batman:TAS are on repeat in our house.
OMG. YT randomly started this while I fell asleep/ I woke, saw the comments, gave it a shot and I'm so happy I did. In my world I feel like I'm watching the white version of Key & Peele and Im lovin it. Yet you wisely interconnect stories to build this universe.
You guys deserve much more attention worldwide and hopefully you rightfully will.
they do indeed have a lot of attention, this is one of the most famous and well-loved sketch shows of all time.
TOP 5 SHOW OF ALL TIME
"what did Hemingway do?"
"oh, he killed himself."
💀😭
What is this heaven on earth that I have found. (Also saw there was a season 5 that was like 3 hours) 🙏🏻
I love Portlandia! Just finished season two. Everything is so random and funny 😂. Thanks for uploading ❤️🍊🦒
You’re Welcome
You make the world go round THANK YOU
Do you wanna lobsterate your meal? I'm dying 😂
YES!! Thank you. On an unrelated note, so cool they used Ehren McGhehey.
I know I was like "is that danger ehren??'

I like the river raft comedy skit with the dramatic outdoors background theme music 🌊

This show is so dam awrsome! I'm bitting myself for just finding it right now...
They had star Galactica crew y'all ❤😂😂😂😂😂😂
I don't want my kids stealing bread ! ROTFL
"Show people dying." LOL
You can put me down for the Naan Wrapped Slam Burger, actually, no joke that sounds fire. No need to explain to me what Naan is. Everyone knows it's the best bread in Ireland.
This reminds me of me and my suburban friends when we heard Tony stark talk about eating shawarma.
We never heard about it, much less left our middle class, vanilla neighborhood, but we all acted like it was the best thing ever.
We eventually got to try it and it sure was delicious but we hyped it up ridiculously. Lol
57:40 "do you have blu-ray?" is the best part of the entire series. brilliant.
"Ron get these white people out my closet."
"what is a whistler on the range" a teapot. OMFG.....i'm an actual genius!
Comfort TV.
The postman sketch *JUST* freaked me out. He watched that movie at 8 years old and presumably he's well in to his late 30's which means he's been a postman for 27'ish years? Which is terrible lmfao.
thank you so much for this channel and all of these uploads. i haven’t gotten to watch this show in over 6 years !
You're very welcome!
Why does Fred look so good in the 1890's...
Dr. Caligary!!!
I love the women and women first bits
Same!!
"We pressed 'print' and it keeps giving us an error message" 😆
Me too lol when he’s like “…at my own expense”…
I'm sorry you "love" them dont you mean you USE them?!
@paulohernanndizz3506Agreed 🫶🏽
So many hilarious scenes. I love the one with the female Asian author at Women and Women First.
Lmfao at the person dying in the car.. Crashing dj night!!
I know all the people these characters are based on . Keep Portland Weird ...🙃
Sure you do 😂
I bet Portland was fun in the 1990s now its
This show is legendary
"Charred Ice" is genius
Thank you so much for these. Super appreciative.
You're very welcome!
what the fuck I'm so glad this exists!
I can't stop laughing I think I will spend the next week watching this!!!
Thanks for the upload!! Love the Isaac Brock cameo during the parents meeting, trying to donate his questionable records!
Glad you enjoyed it!

Woke up to this playing on my phone. I thought it was hot rod😂

And he can play the bongos.

@@megan-mr9vk why ? lol
@@cloverg7--- because in real life he is a huge creep, unfortunately.
This show is exactly my kind of crazy. Too bad they couldn't land Katee Sackhoff for the Battlestar Galactica sketch though.
Who's dog is this with the lips falling off? 🤣
i seriously think about that line ALL the time ever since i first heard it 😂😂😂😂
1:26:32 the mustache guy was my barber 12 years ago. He loved to talk about being in this show
Wow😂 this 💩 FunnY AF!....first timer...(hey, cousin's call me Patrick one time, cus seemed like I've been livn under a rock...lol[excuse])
....I'm onnit now tho🫵👊😎
Doing dogs work 🙏🙌🙏
There's just something about the vibe of this show. It makes me want to move to Portland and hang out with weird people.
If any of you happen to be in Pasadena, CA on the 15th, I'm going to be DJing in Old Town down by the public space near the movie theater. Starts at 9 pm.... Melbourne Bounce, Euro house and Minimal.
See you there!
😂
Spread the Melbourne Bounce❤
Fred's fixation with fingernails both fascinates and frightens me.
wait..... what? when does that come up?
Are they trying to say talk talk is bad? Oooohhhh
funniest series. so glad its all on here.
20:49 I'm originally from the Bay Area (not close at all to LA. But still. There's a lot of BroDude clubs and bartenders there) And this scene makes me proud that I live in Vancouver WA, next to Portland Or.
This is such a great show
Man, this show reminds me so much of being a kid in Bisbee, Arizona in the 90s. I love Fred & Carrie's chemistry and style of comedy. Just two talented, brilliant minds being so dang funny together...perfect 🙏
What’s crazy is that they’re both musicians but I feel like at their core and what they are “meant to be” in this life are funny people.
A MA ZING thanks for uploading this XOXO
You're so welcome!
Imma take a trip to Portland soon I think,
I'm like 3 hours away I think
But I suck and there are nice places
I HATE Grover’s parents.
lol theyre some of the funniest characters on the show though!
44:41- "Alternative Wedding" might be THE most true-to-city sketch in history... 🤔
i prefer smoked ice to charred
dying I never noticed the car pushing Fred's bike lol 2:18:58
I thought that was a trailer
She should of played Pamela from. The office lol
Bless you! 🙏🏽
i can't tell tell if they are showing off their city or warning us to stay away....
WTF just woke up to this
2:06:32 who is the kidnapper lady?? She looks familiar I feel like I have seen here before
Kristen wiig, she was hilarious in macgruber 😂
She was also on Saturday Night Live with Fred Armisen, a lot of SNL people appear on Portlandia because of the overlap in cast and producers-including Maya Rudolph (Peter's ex-wife), Andy Samberg (mixologist), Vanessa Bayer (various), Bobby Moynihan (Candance's son), and Bill Hader (Birdman)

Sorry for your loss. Seems like you have a lot going on.
Charred ice.
i wish there was a place that was really like this. i would definitely move there, apply for a keg license....and pickle it.
