Winter came early this year - freak snow storm in mid-October

We got hit with a good snow dump in October. The snow lingered for nearly 2 weeks. I actually had to plow my driveway.

Growing up in Sudbury....i dont miss the snow and cold ow that i am in my 60s. Southwest Ontario has pretty tame winters.

My dad always said the first snowfall doesn’t mean it’s winter. There’s usually about three snowfalls/melts before it sticks on the ground and it’s truly winter (in Edmonton anyway).
