Record snow for the Month of March in Calgary - Plowing my driveway

March 2024 was the second snowiest month of March for Calgary, in recorded history, with 66 cm of snow. The previous March record was 70.3 cm in 1998.

I had to do the same thing IN Calgary. Glad I bought the 4 STROKE snow blower a few years back!
Oh my that sucks...I'm late getting here...lol...it's 12 degrees here...yes I was worried we would get a cold snap after a mild winter and everything budding out...the first day of spring is not the same as the first spring day❤

Damn it. However, I think I prefer my own climate zone. In Eastern Europe we have a warm spring and temperatures of +20 degrees. The last time I saw so much snow was maybe ten years ago.

Hopefully your subdivision has good drainage. Looks flat around you. Otherwise we are waiting patiently for your canoe to work video next week. LOL

I am west of GP and we have not had snow in any amounts like that.
1988 was when the pseudo scientists and manipulators introduced to the world the notion of global warming. I was excited about this prospect. A two to 3 week longer frost free period would have opened up more crop choices for prairie farmers and insured a more successful growing season producing higher quality crops. Millions of acres could have become available for crop production in Central Asia too. 36 years later I'm still waiting...
