I shaved to raise money for a local pet shelter

- My 25 years of working in the oil patch required that I be clean-shaven every day. When I got transferred to head office I started growing a beard, but I still had to shave it off regularly because of trips to the field. In 2020 the COVID pandemic forced me out of work, and I haven't had a clean-shaven face ever since.
To be honest, my beard is part of my identity, and people recognize me because of it. In fact, most people have no idea what I look like without a beard. I'm going on a trip in a few weeks, and my wife begged me to shave it off, and I agreed.
To be honest, I'm scared to do it, but I will. Someone suggested that I raise a few bucks for charity in the process. I'll donate most of the money I raise to our local animal shelter. They're overwhelmed with pets abandoned by their owners who can't afford to feed them anymore. You all know how much I love dogs.
I'll keep a few bucks to cover the costs of creating content.

That was nice of you to do! I've been fostering for the Meow Foundation since 2019. When I first started my phone would start ringing within minutes of them getting listed for adoption. Now I'm lucky to have a showing at all. It's crazy how drastically things have changed for shelters and rescues in the last couple years. They need all they help they can get.
My senior relief driver does cross country, and border animal rescue transfers...horses to cats. He lives for it.

Good job Marty. I’m not on X. I was watching you and Clyde on the live stream tonight, I really enjoy listening to you two every week. You’re an intelligent guy, You said you liked looking into things. I have a friend that works in Finance. About two years ago he told me he heard a rumour that after Freeland became Finance minister, she went to the banks and said the government would cosign all mortgages. He has a friend that works at the bank of Canada. His friend confirmed that. The program was around for about 18 months. Mortgage holders don’t even know about it. I don’t know if it’s a bunch of crap or if it’s real. If it is real, why is nobody talking about it? I have tried finding more information about it, but I have had no luck. Maybe this is something you would like to look into. One theory I have is,this is why they are trying to keep interest rates low to avoid mortgage default. If this is true, it could cost the taxpayers trillions more.

I recently met an Edmonton lawyer named David Skrypichayko, who is filing a big lawsuit on this subject. It involved Freeland, MArc Carney, realtors, banks, the CMHC. Of course so one wants to talk about this. I'll see if Clyde and I can get him on the show. It's a very complicated story.
@@Martyupnorth that is what my friend told me. It’s very complicated and most Canadians would really understand the impact. That’s why nobody’s talking about it. I know the program was in effect for about 18 months. It was after Freeland became Finance minister. I think that’s why the previous, finance minister resigned him, and Trudeau were at odds over that program.

In the personally-written 28page report, I allege professional misconduct and criminal negligence by two ROGUE, CRIMINAL, and CORRUPT 'officers'.
I was then targeted and retaliated against by an entire corrupted judicial system.
The judicial system at large targeted and retaliated against me (and my family).
I am an innocent, law-abiding, non-violent, clean criminal record, father of three upstanding teenaged sons and an educated business man and business owner.
I competitively played and volunteer-coached hockey, baseball, soccer (and la-crosse) in my community for years - including with many upstanding police officers!
For 544 days (and counting) an NHL city's Police Force has (illegally) withheld my (stolen, police stole it) personal property - video evidence that I personally took with my own video camera, in my own home, peacefully, respectfully, lawfully.
The video evidence is EXCULPATORY video evidence.
I was MALICIOUSLY PROSECUTED and DEFAMED with materially false and misleading police reports in the process. I was FRAMED by both officers and then falsely accused of a crime - Assault a Peace Officer.
I still don't have my personal property back.
PS I have official email communications with the Police Chief, the head of the Police force's legal counsel, and even grew up and played hockey with the mayor of the city.
This has been a miscarriage of justice from the beginning - September 15th, 2022!
