I didn't see your comment until now Kenny, I used a 7/16 or a 1/2 threaded rod with course thread. It looks like ACME threads due to me tapping a really tight thread on the center piece. If you want to build something like this you can use 8mm lead screws from amazon which are really cheap and have a 2mm or 4mm lead. I think I paid more for the threaded rod than I would have for some leadscrews. Thanks for watching!
