    Great idea , actually I made one a year ago. I used a Cleco as my pivot point but I didn’t have a handle, great idea . Looking forward to Saturday night.

    7/16", 7/8", Whatever it takes.... This was a particularly good video. Timely too, because I need to make what are called ttma flanges, used mostly on tank trucks. This neat little idea will make that quite a bit easier. Thanks, Karl!

    Quick tip, drill a golf ball slightly smaller than the diameter of the end of your center punch. Press it on and you're gonna want to use your center punch for hours. They work great on old files with missing handles too.

    Great work yet again, that finish the plasma gave was really smooth.. gives me a plan to invent an adjustable version possibly integrating a vernier slide ruler 🤔

    I always appreciate your tip and technique videos because I always get an extra take away from them. I have seen so many different circle cutting jigs but this one is about the simplest and the quickest to make. Great video thank you for sharing your skills.     12:48 I’m looking at that center ‘waste’ with a hole in it. Often, that is probably useful. Desirable even.
    But this gave me an awesome idea for a variation. I’m probably never going to want to (or need!) a cnc table - especially for the floorspace factor- but somewhat regularly I need to cut shapes, curves and circles. A modification of this basic idea combined with some woodworking tricks (my other income-producing fab skill) I do with a router and bandsaw will give this super powers.

    Mate, I have just come across your channel. I own road trains in Aus and do heaps of my own maintenance work and have older trucks which are so hard to get brackets and such for.... definitely now an avid watcher of your channel tthanks for the tips!
