So my husband and I saw this video when it came out almost a year ago and decided to try the Pho Binh by Night in Houston. We live almost 7 hours from Houston, but we were going for our 1st wedding anniversary in May. What should have been a 7 hour trip turned into a 13 hour trip because my car broke down half way there, we were stuck a mechanic's for hours in no-where Louisiana and ended up getting the last available rental car out of there. We were exhausted, but determined to have our first meal in Houston at Pho Binh. We got there with like an hour left before they closed at like 2 AM (bless them for staying open late) and once we sat down, my husband recognized the owner. He got the owner's attention who was SO nice to us. After hearing about our struggle to get there, he was really humbled to learn that we wanted his restaurant to be our first food from Houston. He gave a TON of free food and was so welcoming. We literally couldn't eat it all! It was amazing, though, so, so good. I hope we get to visit again soon! Thanks, Buzzfeed, for the tip and to Pho Binh, can't wait to come again!

The top price pho isn't expensive because it's covered in edible gold leaf, foie gras, caviar, and truffles, it's expensive because it's made with quality ingredients that actually make sense as opposed to just being added to make the dish seem more artifically expensive.
