RED ALERT! Texas property taxes are NOT too high!!! I moved to North Texas, Unincorporated Aubrey, two years ago from The People’s Republic of New Jersey. If I could pick up my Texas house, new construction, 3 bedroom, 2 bath, 2 car garage, and move it back to North Jersey I would be paying more than twice as much property tax + state income tax! Another benefit I enjoy in Texas is father/daughter “date nite” at Frisco Gun Club, Wednesday Ladies Nite, followed by Hutchins BBQ!!! My only regret about moving to Texas is I didn’t make the move sooner. 🤠🇺🇸

I guess compared to Nee Jersey but the taxes are very high compared to most states. But all states screw you in some way to get “their” money.

Dallas metro is "Dry Hot" during the Summer; it is different from the humid hot in Florida and Hawaii. Humid hot makes your whole body wet , sticky and not good for the health! Also, during the Summer, Dallas metro temperature is around 10 degree lower than Phoenix and Las Vegas! That 10 degree makes big difference on people's feeling and health; also your AC bill and AC lifespan.
I was in San Paul, MN for 2 years; the Winter weather is crazy cold. Dallas metro only has a bigger snowing once every 4 years. The only big one causing disaster in 2022 is because ERCOT ( Texas energy supply ) system was strongly influenced by state's politics. ERCOT improved strongly after management level replacement!. This is another good video presentation by Dana!
    * If you like a place with 4 seasons, but not too hot in the Summer and not too cold in the Winter, Dallas metro is for you!
Dallas metro is also a almost USA geographic center city with acceptable Winter/Summer temperatures by almost everybody.
This is probably the reason that College football division I FCS championship keep extended for so many years in Frisco tx!
