It seems that everyone has been programmed to update update update (and the updates are usually crap plastic and fiberboard crap that is inferior) and flippers are gutting the souls out of mid-century homes here in Florida, completely destroying history. Most of the time, there is nothing horribly wrong with the home. I think it's gotten really absurd. We are a horrible lot, the human race - how we copy each other and we copy each other so long that we lose site of what is absurd. Clean the home and declutter the home and maybe fix things that need fixing, but enough with the damn update update update, especially you deplorable flippers.

Austin’s downtown has really grown over the years. I also like the Hill Country it sits next to. With that said, I pick Dallas. Austin is just a nice weekend trip and usually that’s to the Hill Country.

Please do houses by price per sq ft. That varies by neighborhood, hard to compare. But utilities are ridiculous in Texas, year 'round, property taxes aren't going down, that's a fallacy. As people move to Texas, and overpay for houses, house values rise. "Top cities" in Texas are being ruined! Californian conservatives

What is the "California Culture" exactly that you don't want? Because homelessness is already everywhere. I see it WAY more in DFW than I did in Los Angeles and that says a lot. You have plenty of crime. That didn't come from California. I am more worried about shootings here than I ever was in Texas, And I've never seen drivers so bad.
