All you should know about waterspouts tornadoes

  • A waterspout is an intense columnar vortex that occurs over a body of water. Some are connected to a cumulus congestus cloud, some to a cumuliform cloud and some to a cumulonimbus cloud. In the common form, it is a non-supercell tornado over water. In this video I talked about how waterspouts form and what is the difference between them and tornadoes.

    "This waterspout looks threatening, but the vortex begins to weaken when it reaches the land' true and in some cases not true waterspouts do have the potential to become full fledged tornadoes

    I see Waterspouts on Lake Erie alot mostly Fairweather Waterspouts in the Fall though in May June July its not unheard of the get a Supercell Thunderstorm producing Tornadic Waterspouts over Lake Erie seen a couple of those too
