    What a beautiful episode with an epic lesson. True, that this is a subcontinental trait, not just limited to a certain race. And about the traveller, the Prophet said that "Those who believe in Allah & the day of Judgment will honour his guest".
    And I love the Trojan Horse sitting in the background 🤩

    Wonderful episode and awesome narrative about people and places of Salman Range. I and Dr Raheel Siddiqui waited you and your Indus blind dolphin boat expedition at Ghazi Ghat on a frozen evening, same year 2003. Dr.sahib was AC in our district DG Khan. Sweet old days,

      Suleman Range, Rajputa, not Salman Range. That was January 2000. We abandoned the expedition at Taunsa.

    Sir, I am also a Pahadi....... born and brought up in a pahadi village. We also believe in the same for hospitality. if someone comes to our house. However, things have changed a lot now. Earlier we were not used to locking our houses if we are not at home. but urbanization has changed everything. Nice story sir.

    • @salmanrashid8880
      @salmanrashid8880 Před 2 lety +2

      Thank you, Valvir. In ancient Taxila folks did not lock their homes when going out. Theft was unknown. At least somewhere in the hills there are still good people.

    Mehmaanawazi is indeed a virtue and I agree that it is prevalent all across this Indian subcontinent. Nice parable to drive home the point.

    Jiyoonday rawo. ❤️ آپ کی اس کہانی سے مجھے اپنے والد صاحب یاد آ گئے۔ وہ یہ نصیب والی بات پر پہت یقین کیا کرتے تھے۔ جب میں چھوٹی تھی تب ابو سے بحص کیا کرتی تھی کہ نصیب وصیب کچھ نہیں ہوتا
    You make things happen
    اب جبکہ خود کچھ زندگی گزار لی ہے تب خود بھی یقین آ گیا ہے کہ کوشش اپنی جگہ لیکن کچھ باتیں نصیب کی ہوتی ہیں۔
    Although it makes me some sort of a theist 🤣 but I don’t know, whatever it is.

    MERI GRANDMOTHER BAADI DADEE SEE NO RELATIVES WOULD DARE TO COME TO OUR HOUSE BECAUSE OF HER CHINIOT THO SEE . Joke's apart
    Yes Sir it's a tradition in Indian subcontinent to make charitable accommodations called Dharamshala for the traveler's and still continues you will find hundreds of charitable Dharamshalas in all Holy cities of India like HARIDAWAR VARANASI PRAYAGRAJ AMRITSAR NATHDAVAR TRIRUPATI BALAJI etc list is to long to describe but due to urbanization and commercial reasons Hotels resorts are replacing this traditional values of Hospitality in Indian subcontinent but still the needful gets a charitable accommodations DHARAMSHALAS in India 🇮🇳 .
