Hope you guys are having a safe and relaxing off season. Once again thanks to the MILF line of Marc, LaRocco, and Filk for talking hockey in the heat wave. Drury's tenure as GM is becoming reminiscent of the Emile Francis Era. Not a great comparison being "The Cat" also coached except for '68 & '73 when he concentrated solely on GM duties when Bernie Geoffrion and Larry Popein handled the duties behind the bench, but this Ranger team certainly fits the profile of "doing everything but win" which is what "The Cats" Blueshirts were famous. In the case of Hall of Famer, Lou Lamoriello whom although is famous for his obvious stint in Jersey taking them from being Mouseketeers to perennial Champions, he is The Godfather of USA Hockey and deserves adoration and respect from all American hockey players, coaches, and fans regardless of his role as villian for years with us being his connections to the Devils and the Islanders but we have to wonder if the game has passed him by, it hurts me to say but his stints in Toronto and Belmont have'nt been up to his standards, never mind peripheral opinions like the one I just espoused in the comments.
