Hiring Sheldon Keefe as head coach may indicate that David Blitzer and Tom Fitzgerald are attempting to restore Devil DNA as far as their historic style of play, a component that should never be overlooked in hockey being the rich history of the game. Keefe will not deploy the rigid 1-2-2 shallow forecheck of the Lemaire Era but they will become a defend first and counterattack (with speed) team that is the cornerstone of Devil tradition originally implemented by a former athletic director and hockey coach at Providence College. The never pay a goalie that much is a terrible take. Igor is a work horse and if you pay him 12 mil he will do everything in his power to play at top level like he always does.

NHL games I feel like really fell off after psx (original Playstation) I remember really enjoying nhl 94, 96, 2000 and faceoff 99 and 2000 After that every time I tried a game it the controls felt... clunky? It also felt like a lot of the new features felt poorly implemented. I've actually just given up on the hockey games. Which is a bummer because I liked nhl games better than nba and nfl games, and while NFL games seem like they stuck with what works, the last couple of NBA games I played were also a bit iffy, though not nearly as much as the nhl ones. Though to be fair the wrestling games are probably the ones that fell off the hardest.

The library of videos does scratch that itch in the dark days of summer! I can't wait for the ponds to freeze and a beer ball.

This year was really weird for goalkeeping especially in the beginning. Shesterkin, Sorokin, Saros, etc... some did not recover from the shakey start. I have no doubt that Sorokin bounces back.

I think that many people owe David Quinn an apology, in that they said that he was keeping LaF & Kakko back. I think that he had the insight that, if The Kids were going to develop, it was working their way up from The 3rd Line, together. Even though LaF is doing better, as Marc says, he's not going to be A 40-50 Goal Scorer, unless things change.

I think that Chris Drury has to be Graded on A Curve, since he is handcuffed by Jeff Gorton Moves, however, having said it, I think that he's The King Of All Rentals/Without Extending So Many Of Them. This equals his Losing Picks & Prospects. Let me know what you think

I think that Lou is ranked so low, because Fans were seeing the failure to make the team younger. I think that might be a bit unfair, because, as you've said, but for 1 year, Lou has had them in it games that go past The Regular Season

Lou Lamarillo definitely Won The Bo Horvat Trade. I don't know what happened to That Prospect that went to The Vancouver Canucks, but, near immediately, Anthony (the new suitcase/Chicago's Gary Smith nickname) Beauvillier went to The Chicago Blackhawks & is all over the place. Therefore, Lou Lamarillo did A Magic Act on that trade. However, if you put him up against Trotz & so many others, he definitely does rank in The Bottom Half.

Igor is great but as a Rangers fan I’m not down with paying him more than $10m. Many other teams won the cup with a Lesser paid goalie. If he wants that much I’d consider sign and trade him they’d could get a boat load.

I can't think of the name of the Backup in 2011, but, I think he became A Starter with another team in 2012.

Igor Shesterkin has been much more inconsistent than King Henrik Lundqvist was at this point in his career & the $8.5 to The King was more likely for past performances, since, as you said, Marc, it was at The End Years Of His Career. Great Video, as usual, guys. I think that Anthony is right on The Igor Shesterkin situation. I am sure, as An Islanders' Fan, that he remembers The Rock DiPietro 15 year deal, only for Injury(ies) to end his career not to long after the signing.

Igor will get $12 million/year for atr least 6 years, no matter what ANY fan thinks or wants. He is as good as it gets in the NHL. EVERYBODY else on the Rangers will just have work around it. Salary caps suck, you have a small window to put your name on the cup. Use it or lose it! He led that team to a President's trophy winning season. Rangers have to pay him or lose him! Everyone knows the best game is from Super Nintendo nhl 94 😂😂😂😂 but I ain’t gonna lie nhl 2k on the 360 and ps3 was the most slept on that was a real deal hockey simulation it made u feel like u had to move and think like a nhl player I wish ea took notes just didn’t get the attention it deserved

The hockey games I also like are: NHL 14, NHL 06, and the modern games(just because of their game modes).
