What high FSH really means about your fertility...
So you’ve been for some fertility testing…and the results are back…and your doctor says you have something called “high FSH”.
🤔 Now you’re thinking: what does this mean? How does it affect my fertility? Is it something I can improve?
FSH (Follicle Stimulating Hormone) levels are a marker for ovarian reserve. If your levels are too high, it’s often taken as a sign that your number of eggs is diminishing.
Of course, hearing this news can be DEVASTATING.
Especially to my program members who are trying to conceive age 35 and above.
But is being told you have high FSH as doom and gloom as it seems?

I had never imagined my fertility journey to be such an uphill climb but after endometriosis surgery, with Amh levels that were undetectable, my doctor told me “kids are born during war, you need to accept it”!! But I always had hope and your videos gave me the will to fight!! It took me a year but I followed your advice I gave up caffeine, sugar, ate healthy, reduced my stress, had acupuncture and guess what?! I am naturally pregnant at the age of 36!!! 😊

In the internet we have more information abou FSH, AMH but Les about LH and estradiol. Are these less important?

wow the synchronicity is mindblowing. I JUST received my fsh results and it's sadly 25.1 UI/L on a day 2 or 3 cycle (not sure as the 1st day I was just spotting/darkish & it really started the next day). Just turned 50 and still trying IVF with my own eggs. Do you think it's possible? I heard you in an old video say your success patients are up to 51 but perhaps they've already had children before?
I think with an FSH of 25 at 50, it will be difficult to conceive with your own eggs.

Hi doc! I just found out my fsh is 17.2. This was tested on the 3-4 day of my cycle. A week or two before it was 2.6. My tsh is currently regulated. Is this rare for it to jump up like that?

I think it depends on the cause. Is it pcos or high fsh or thyroid problems...your doctor will tell you that.

It is on the low side but all you need is one good egg each cycle.
