- A potential major disruption to your morning commute as metro employees plan a protest Friday morning. KCAL's Kara Finnstrom has the agency's plea and their response to the recent string of violence in transit.
Mayor Karen Bass is the head of Metro and she continues to allow this lawlessness. #1 They need to stop allowing people to board Buses & Trains without paying the fare. Drivers are punished if they dont allow Homeless and Drug addicts on Metro.
I just hope the Metro CEO ends this fiasco problems with the homeless and the drug addicts they need to be banned from buses and trains the only way to end his fiasco problems without exceptions or excuses period😮💨!
Not to mention MEASURE M passed which is where metro received around 1 BILLION to expand over the next years (numbers are off I’m sure) 🤷♂️
Metro needs to do something to secure the safety of its drivers AND its riders! 😡

Not just Metro. This is a mental health problem, and Metro officials cannot solve it. We need to address the source of the problem to end the problem. Like Barney Fife used to say:

That’s very simplistic my friend. Name a red state that has as many people as these blue states that deal with their issues instead of just shipping homelessness to another state. It’s complicated. We’ll have to resort in removal of some rights to make things feasible. 😅
Even with the police there, they're not diligent. It's like they don't take it seriously. On the Red Line in NoHo, I've seen 5 officers hanging around in one group on the rail platform and no one was monitoring the fare turnstile upstairs. Like, what's the point? Their presence isn't enough to deter dangerous people from entering. They have to be actively enforcing the turnstile and emptying rail cars upon their arrival to the final stop.
First I take the metro daily to work and it’s definitely out of control but some operators let these lunatics/ druggies on willingly even when they don’t sneak or jump on and they sit with the doors open so that the crazy individuals can hop on the bus I get protect the operators but also protect the passengers 😠😠😐😐😤🙄🙄🚌🚌
