You could already say what Jack would eventually accomplish. Watching this video is like a time machine.
A talk box physically pumps amplified audio up a tube that you place in your mouth, which you then capture via a mic. The Voice Box packs a vocoder (which can sound like a talk box) as well as a multi-part harmonizer and other stuff into a single compact chassis, no tubes.
Listened to this demo on repeat when it came out. Been listening to Pomplamoose for a couple of years now, but somehow it never clicked that these are the same people.
It's Christmas Eve in 2019, going on a nostalgia trip. LOL, when I first watched this I didn't even know what a vocoder was, just loved the demo performance. Gotta love it.
I know this is a demo for electro harmonics and i love and own some of thier pedals but for some reason this song or demo just keeps sticking in my head i love it! i wish it was a full song!!!

Actually, with just voice (no instrument) you can still use the Octaves and Unison + Whistle modes. (Plus you'll get reverb if you want it.)
I bought one of these wonderful boxes because of this demo. I just returned from Afghanistan so I had no idea how popular you and Jack have become. Long time fan!

Holy mother........ the whistle mode is awesome! Brilliant unit.
In this video, the first third is vocoder, the middle third is harmonizer, and the final third is vocoder.
