Watch this vid 3 times already I can listen to Luis all day 😆
So youre saying youve got no life or have a problem with time management
Justin Swanstorm needs this to help keep the blower on his car 😂
Mind blown. Lol 😂love all of the details. Keep this kind of stuff coming, maybe a dyno pull to show individual cylinder tuning in real time kind of a thing.
This the best fuel delivery video on youtube The way Luis explains things is amazing. So much knowledge. Well done thankyou. FUELTECH are certainly the best on the market.
Luis, This is the best, makes me want to get back in the game as crew, spent some time in BB/FC and T/FC and I 'm aware of the misery of mechanical, the safeties and the possible ways to save beautiful parts is what interests me, if the parts live , quickness will come.
Cara... o Luis é tão didático q nem precisa saber inglês pra entender oq ele ta falando!!! kkkkkkkk
Ele de jaleco me lembrou o Mad Scientist do Street Outlaws!!! 😂😂😂😂
Congrats Guys!!! 🚀🚀🚀🚀
Fuel Tech FT700+ BBC EFI 1471 Top Dragster? Sign me up with that 💪. Great stuff guys and gals, you're killing it!
So many details - This was fantastic!!
Absolutely cannot go wrong with Fueltech
Great details and description 👌👌👌
Justin swanstrum needs this in his life… knocked that blower clean off three times in his last two test sessions, hit the burst panel a couple more times..
Think he already runs an EFI
Luis munchas gracias now I have a better under standing and yes Pleas more Tech
No wonder so many ppl come to fuel tech to dyno test these boys are super smart and have the system down perfectly I could watch fuel tech vids all day
This is why!!! This brand keep beat all other brand on the market. Because they keep inovating!!!! 👏👏👏👏
Haltech and FuelTech are the goat.
Beautiful top end shit!!!! WOW!!!! Drooling like Homer Simpson when he sees a duff beer during the whole video.....
Thanks Luis-your delivery makes me understand easier-well done…
you have always been a genius and pioneer in the fuel injection fuel tech area I watch all of your videos because they are very informative and educational. I have no clue why anybody would run mechanical on the blowers like they do now with today’s technology. Honestly, I’m very old-school in many ways, but you have to go with what works many years a four-cylinder would make 80 to 90 hp now they could make 400+ the same a small block Chevy a.k.a. LS and LT packages of today so you have to go with the times and technology. It’s honestly that simple.
I'm with Justin I think it's time for me to get rid of my mechanical stuff that was a great video
To hear the screw compressor explained by Louis is awesome
I could listen to this guy all day.. Great detailed explination that really didnt get into the details from his perspective. Thanks
It’s a shame that norm is no longer with us. Him and Luis together would be one hell of a conversation in the trailer
This guy really manja dos paranauês! Jokes aside, very informative video!
Excellent video!
Outstanding!
Man fueltech is always at the top of technology
Thanks for explaining the differences and advantages of EFI. One point: I believe that the irregular bhp curve for an actual hemi-engine should be addressed before programing the an air/fuel map... no mater if it's a mechanical or EFI system or carburetor. After all, the horsepower curve is nothing more than a derivation of the engine's torque at incremental rpm points. Fix the inexplicable dip in bhp BEFORE deciding how to accommodate for the deficiency through programing.
Thanks for the great info!!
Packed full of good information!! Thanks Luis, keep up these in depth technical videos!!
Killer video!
I love this type of content
What a fantastic teacher. Great video
Great Job!
Great stuff Louis 👍
This was great information. Thanks Louis.
Great video! Ty
Great video....very informative..
Good info man ❤ very well explained
Super cool!
Very interesting and well done explanation!
Fantastic explanation - I learned a lot! Thank you
Fantastic video
Good to see you proved that manifold rails don't need to be fed with a "Y" on high output applications
You gave a Great explanation of the two different fuel injections keep them coming and thanks
Great stuff
As always great explanation Luis thanks, best computer system engine management
Great content really cool technology
Luis I swear u look 21 lmao hahah you guys are awesome and make a awesome.product
almost double of that bud lmao
@luisdeleon2930 I know ur nor 21 but I swear u look like on video lmao 🤣 😂. thanks for bringing your awesome product to the states. at some point I'd like to run one of your standalones on my kswaped civic I just gotta get the funds stacked up just a little bit more and I'll more then likely go that route
break rocker on the intake valve? popa de blower.. air is colder than usual and u miss your tuneup and goes too lean? popa de blower. no closed loop fuel correction? pope de blower. NO EFI? pope de blower🤣… keep these videos coming👏🏼
Nice video Luiz.
Small tip from a fellow brazilian:
"... our differential is, our fuel pressure MINUS the boost... "
not "less the boost". It is understandable, but not usual in English.
Cheers
Very Nice, back to old/newSCHOOL!!!! Liked tueday🙃
Very cool video
Very nice
Awesome.
I am always surprised big budget, big HP cars like this are running port injector rails in series. It's common place that high performance 4cylinders run in parallel, 6 cylinders running twin entry with the return in the middle of the rail to reduce fuel pressure and fuel flow drop between injectors. I believe it also assists with injector pulsation / fluid cavitation along the rails.
Awesome
@Fueltech USA is the proline hemi screw combo catching up with the typical screw engine front runners...clearly they have the procharger and turbo game down but seems they were a little behind on the screw setup a year or two ago
i use both top and bottom the entire time. like you said the hat injectors are hard to tell which one will affect individual cylinders. on my setup i lean the intake set to keep them all happy idling. what is the benefit from not using the bottom at low rpm?
The IDEA besides more fuel above the blower is also fuel above helps keep the air going in cooler and that says more HP
Very informative. What kind of people typically come to fueltech school?
art
This was a great video. Two questions. I understand why you need the injectors on the manifold but why do you need the injectors under the hat? Also, from the video it seems efi is so much better, why would anyone use mechanical?
Is that an ls set up ? With that efi we can reduce the idle problem of that type of blower and be more steady like street normal drive
Where do I find of more of these videos like these ?
Do those blowers run rear cylinders leaner than the front by chance ?
Salve, Luiz.
Abraços.
Great informative video.
Can we add the total cost of items?
Say something from a basic 671 roots blown EFI sbc 355 street/strip setup and parts list all the way up to a 540
Because it's FuelTech. Im assuming there's great quality control measures in place and they come with the flow chart?
The Detroit diesel engine used blowers and a turbo combo how well would that setup be for a gas engine? I have been wanting to see someone do that
Now that is extremely interesting. One question though ; it appears you are using a mechanical pump yet you reference a steady 90 psi for the injectors as a base. How is that ? Many thanks.
Do you have anything for a nitro motor. An A/fuel (naturally aspirated) hemi for example. The fuel flow on a nitro engine is around double that of the blown alcohol counterpart on a modern TAD. They use three injectors per cylinder on a mechanical injection combination. Is there electronic injectors capable of that kind of flow?
What does the car usually do if there is not enough fuel going to the injector? How do you know?
OK, Luis is a pretty smart guy that can explain the differences between Mechanical and Electronic Fuel Injection.... but what color is his Gracie Jiu Jitsu Belt ? ;)
All of the colors
You guys need to talk with Justin Swanstrum, he’s done knocked that blower off every chance he’s had, I think your system would have saved all but the converter letting go., and maybe even that instant rpm change would have been caught by EFI.. he’s got a car that can run out front, but they have been struggling with their blower combo, and I know for sure Louis and Big Country like to do tune ups the exact same way, UP ARROW for the win… it would be cool to see Justin change over to fuel tech EFI, and start winning some races , I’m fairly sure the car is already on FT ..
Think he already runs EFI
@@strykerentllche runs a half ass efi, he still has a barrel valve on the blower. This is complete efi
@@orb8176 Kinda late to the party, ay? 7 months later, long time
would love to see sum four cylinder diesel gear from you guys like 1kd toyota engines
So what you are basically telling me is if I want to build a car like this I need to be a plumber first 😂
True.... Super S,art
👏👏👏👏👏👏
Now how much voltage does this draw from the ignition what do u need to power the mag or coils and all of those high voltage draw fuel injectors plus the fuel pump u are gonna have voltage loss to something that's why u use mechanical injection and pump
Bro you living in the 90's You just need to throw the MAG in the trash can and buy a good 12 or 16 lithium battery and an FT spark
Why do your ECUs not run a volumetric Efficiency model ?
@@tetracontrol how is it slower ? And how does it have sexual orientation?
@@tetracontrol you didn’t answer my question 🙋 how ?
🙋♂️🙋♂️🙋♂️🙋♂️
Can you explain that again!!!!!
😁😁😁😁👍👍👍👍👍👍
What’s the highest hp u seen on c router supercharger thx
I'll never be able to drive a supercharged car,I've driven all kinds of hot 6,built to run, factory built V8 cars, aussie spec Ford and Holden, last car was a BA XR6,so many toys,so little time
poderia ter uma versao em PT-BR please .
So ativar as legendas, vai muito bem
Who makes this manifold
How do you know all this?
and what about price difference?
#TopFuel
I can But Rdy bolt on mechanic system and its simple he say. But u cant charge set up on track… WHO even change in last sec… ofc whit efi can make it easier
Clubbed thumbs gang
Hoss that gas, son!
.... and uh, if ya got any "used" blowers I'd totally haul them things away for y'all, free of charge...
Lol
New Perk, Luís drawer de leon, lol
video foda
Sei que não podemos comprar mas faz um em Português do Rio Grande Sul pra nós... BAHHH
I'll let you guys build me a motor for my 2021 scat pack widebody fir marketing purposes..
If efi so great on blowers why doesn't nitro run it
It's not allowed on the 30 years old NHRA rulebook
And there you have it
Don't think they can fit a set of injectors under the valve covers to feed a top fuel engine.
Not to mention, this is new, blowers are old, they are just making a comeback due to, rules, technology, weight penalties.,
Rules and injector size. Nitromethane requires around 4 times more fuel mass to generate same power as alcohol. And if you double or triple the power we are talking at 8 to 12 times more mass on a Top Fuel engine than a Pro Mod. Theres no injector large enough to supply that demand today.
No way you're getting good atomization with those blower mounted injectors flowing into an open line.
There has to be a nozzle at the end of each one of those lines which is on par with a mechanical FI system. He gave everyone all of the positive attributes to the EFI but as with any system, there has to be some drawbacks he didn't mention.
@@strykerentllc I would agree, but he specifically states there is no jet or nozzle downstream of the injector. It has less effect, as it's above the blower. But less atomization is never ideal.
@@adamwiebe8386 Missed that in the video. Thank you for pointing it out. That being the case, it's simply pouring fuel into the blower which as you note, isn't ideal.
You are correct about atomization. But theres minimal advantage to atomization prior to the blower. The majority of its advantage takes place after the blower, before it hits the intake valve and goes into the chamber. Before the blower is more useful to have the correct amount than the state of the amount of fuel.
You guys should have cut in a clip of a top fuel funny car popping a blower I say funny car because it's more dramatic usually. You can probably find a better view of it on a dragster though.
Ты русский что ли? Акцент заметный очень.
Work on that Kazachstan accent. Get a coach or something
And EFI is not even a new technology, first analog EFI been here since 50's. Digital EFI been here since the 80s. It's 2024.
you are the man!!! all the fuel control you could ever need,so many sensors and somuch data im afraid it would fry my little mind. i supose thats where a program sorts through the data and makes the fueling changes per cylinder as required.fueltech makes somany cool products now! fueltech rock.
