yes, but after an hour, you'd never be able to eat it because it would hard as a rock.
I thought the same thing. It might work to use the marshmallow glue for the treats (standard building material here in the states) and then coat it well in a layer of chocolate to help keep it chewy inside. You could also build it as marshmallow treats formed in chocolate-coated pans that you then stack together with melted chocolate glue! Lots of options, and this vid provided a great jumping off point. As always, so much fun!

I thought so as well, but soon realized marshmallow would be too soft to build with at first. Sugar syrup boiled to the hard candy stage would be strong but practically inedible.
Chocolate is a good idea, but marshmallow is easier to work with and you can hold your creation easier. Great job though😃

Epic work Baz and Mrs Baz. You know I was thinking about this. You could make a hollow one by making two cones out of something like corex (corrugated plastic). this way you only fill the gap between the two cones, not the whole cone.

Where are the marshmallows
We make rice crispy cakes with chocolate but we do have the crispy treats made with marshmallow
I would assume that they used chocolate on it since it will probably hold up better for how big the tree is.
probably done with chocolate as marshmallow wouldnt be as strong.
growing up in the UK we always made chocolate rice crispy treats, only in the recent years I've heard about marshmallow treats

I love it that would be great to have at a Christmas party you wouldn't need any other deserts. If I made one I'd give it to the children's hospital to see the looks on those kids faces seeing that would warm my heart for years I feel it would bring them such joy I'm actually teary eyed thinking about that.

As far as I've ever seen, Rice Krispie Treats are made the same way in the US and UK (with marshmallows). Barry wanted to try something new, I think.

I love the idea of melted chocolate with crispy cereal. U.S. Nestles used to make a Krackle bar that was milk chocolate with crispy cereal in it. I've seen them in the miniature packs during holidays but not the regular size bars anymore.
