Well just picked up my NX 450 + in Oz yesterday. Ordered in September, dealer tells me the wait now is 18 months +. . So far have had one long drive of 170 km, and the vehicle did not disappoint. Plenty of power on the highway, very quiet , very comfortable, and all the tech is relatively intuitive. Very happy at the moment.

Is the gauge cluster also high techy.. And are you happy with the sound system?
@@parveshpoeran8036 hi, the gauge cluster is k, and can be customised…..haven’t had a chance to play with it yet. Same with the sound system as only listening to the radio, so will need to come back to you after a month or so. I did like the extra power on the freeway when the electric motors kicked in.

So here in the United States, a fully loaded NX 350H goes for about $55-56k. The top of the line NX 450H+ F-Sport is $61,500. That's only about $5k over the fully loaded NX 350H. Here's the kicker, there's a $7500 tax credit on the NX 450H+ so it's actually cheaper. Anyway, I picked up my NX 450H+ F-Sport last week and it's exceeded every expectation. Absolutely love it!
In Texas you can order one but the priority shipments go to "greener states" California NY Illinois so the wait time could be a year. I ordered a regualr 350H and it took almost 6 months- just picked it up- its fantastic.
@@ZE4MC YEP!...I bought mine in California and then moved to Texas...drove it there off the California lot Jan 2022 one of the 1st 450h+ in country and from JAPAN....NOT Union Shop Canada!
Between the two, which one drives smoother/quieter on highway cruising?
The 350h has a stronger electric motor from the RX and highlander hence 240 hp vs rav4 hp of 219 hp
for my part, I ordered a lexus nx450h. living in quebec this seems the most logical option. the only problem. he talks about 2 years of waiting before receiving the vehicle... we have good insitatives here in quebec but no availability of phev or electric vehicles... companies have to distribute more vehicles waiting 2 years for a vehicle is really long. I hope the wait will be a little shorter than expected...
Hi there, 2 quick comments: 1. on the French website Lexus has divulged the torque figure for the new RX 450h+ (same drive train as the NX): 572 Nm (I suppose just under 422 ft/lbs)! 2. When the battery is empty in the 450h+ for pure electric driving it will still have around 8% of battery left to ensure 4WD and 309 hp! So whilst the battery is empty there should hardly be any loss of power......Cheers!

It's important to note that you can't get the Mark Levinson sound system and the Panoramic Roof on the 450h+. Two huge omissions for an SUV that tops out at close the 80K before incentives.
Actually the 15 speaker Standard Stereo in very nice although the Mark Levenson is a tad better...Who cares in a Car much of the music is muffled because of Tire Noise/on pavement!.......... Moon roof is cute However ALL Lexus models have open sun roof...and frankly I find I do not even open it! Nice add on's DEAL BREAKER in No way!!!!
This is the problem when journalists don’t do their research.
The omission of Mark Levinson and pano roof is the reason why I bought the 350h F Sport here in Australia.
We did state up front that this comparison was about the powertrains. But since you bring it up, we can confirm Canadian packaging is the same. This is because the plug-in hybrid RAV4 Prime and NX are built in different production facilities than the hybrid versions. For North America, production of the PHEVs is being moved to Cambridge, Ontario, which should change this here in the new future.

Tried them both........believe me as an owner you will NEVER miss the ML...Stock has 10 speakers..ML has more ML is an A stock is a B= and with any road noise it is a wash...you want great HI Fi go home and listen with no distractions road noise...dump people!

Since most states in the USA have to wait 6 months to a year- will our new "Incentives" not apply to these at the time of delivery since they are made in Japan? I understand the new incentives are for USA made EV only.
ordered a 350h last summer,was just told today after it arrived that the lexus dealer in ontario cant sell me the lexus they can only lease it .anyone can help with this scam
how does the digital gauge cluster compare to the competiors? It seems underwhelming....keep up the great reviews!

Does it require premium fuel?
Yes, all NXs require 91 octane or higher.
You forgot one important thing. A 350h could be available to you in a few months, while a 450 is possibly 16 months. There is limited production. What's the benefit of incentives when the cars on not even available.

you dream, 😆 I ordered a 350h in April...it still isn't allocated to the dealer...its 6 to 8 months now even in Canada where they are built. I'll be canceling my order this week. They told me 3 months....I know someone who ordered 6 weeks before me....still not allocated to the dealer. He is canceling too.
@@Modern.Motoring Lexus salesman lie to customers just to get deposits and vehicles ordered they say 3 to 4 months when it's 6 to 8 for a 350H They know you will cancel it before it arrives and they can sell it for more
…..Glad you LOVE this car...........I own the 2022 450h+ F sport..Note the Heads Up display on the windshield W/14” Crystal clear display on both, alone makes the Lexus better........Mine is In Atomic Silver Glows in the Sun Light with Lil" grey metal flake" and same Circut Red interior.. but with Electric battery...Has 306 Horse power 0 to 60 in 5.6 sec (Via Road and track at drag strip!.) This model DOES- NOT have a TURBO...But rather, a Naturally aspirated / Carb...........(important because it is well known that TURBOS stress engines)...simply said: see euro cars shop time!....this car combines the Elec Batt and engine to achieve *89 miles per Gallon in Hybred mode with HIGH torq, And VERY quick out of the hole...Jus' blew the doors off a 735i beemer...albeit for only a block ...( I am no dummy a V* will eventually pass many cars in the long dist. (in all fairness)
......However, who cares the thrill is initial take off and tickets are for high speed & SPEED...Kill's! My car has Red Calipers against Powder coated Gloss spoke Black mags and All red "F" Sport Badges........ FAR better built than euro's (mine built in Japan) sadly, new releases are now being made in Canada! Like USA Union shops...no one gets fired for a hang over and bad work??? maybe)..... However, Lexus is Far more reliable...Far better Re-Sale that Euro beemers or mercedes.......indeed mine has Gone UP in price...Not many cars you can find Like that!... IF YOU CAN FIND ONE ANYWHERE do grab it!......"econ 101".....Has (3) elec. motors gett'n 0 to 60 in 5.6 sec (road and track) HIGH torque QUICK out of Hole!......Never do I use gas..... gett'n 43 miles per 120 Volt charge (real world driving my experience.) and NEVER USE GAS....and almost Silent operation in elec....So do your research......as this is Far better than any European beemer or mercedes that are depreciating the moment you drive off the lot BIG TIME! And are un- reliable offering to say nothing of the GAS HOG unproven G 70, & RDX not worth mentioning. Z Best of the BEST F Sport 450h+ !
….One more thing, Jus' a heads up!......My wife drives the RX 2020 model...Consider putting Michelins on your NX 450h+ F Sport......Far and away EVEN a much smoother ride Much better ride than the HARD Run Flat Bridgestones that come stock. Carry a Batt. quality inflator ( DeWalt 20V MAX Corded/Cordless Air Inflator ) and string tar impregnated rope insert-er and Do-Not wait for AAA.

@@jsc5590 Thanks and you are one of the few who get it.IMO!..there are those that say they will not buy this Exceptional car because of the Tires...well DUH, first find the platform that is bullet proof and then improve on that....Do -Not go to Euros nor Korean genesis....if you plan to keep if you are a Lease and dump and never own anything and wish to put 3K per month all your life...GQQD luck your choice, then go Euro for ego & the Jone ses! You specifically called out the $5K rebate for the 450h+ on the fully optioned F Sport version ($80k cost). Can you confirm this is true?
I'm hearing that only the base 450h+ (Ultra Premium) gets the rebate and any higher packages on the 450 will not receive the rebate, so some of the cost vs. feature comparisons you did won't hold.
We were under the impression that because the add-ons are set up as packages rather than models that the rebate would apply, but we’ll go to the source to confirm and get back to you.
Hello again! Our contact at Lexus has confirmed that because the 450h+ add-ons are set up as packages and not individual models, all 450h+ units qualify for the iZEV rebates.

I will never buy a car with run flat tires. They are noisy plus are like rocks with no flex. It is incredible that a so called luxury manufacturer does not option run flats rather because the they are inferior. 👎👎👎👎even confirmed by recent Lexus owners. They are changing their tires to quality regular tires for that awesome quality ride
Is the 450h+ as noisy as that review sounded; if it is it's not for me.
It’s not. We were on the highway and it started raining. It’s a very quiet cabin.
NOT ...NOT Noisy.................AT All.....I use electric only...NO GAS!!!.......with Michelin's whisper quiet!
That review was with NOISY Run Flat tires ...BAD Br=idstones.........Michelin's + night and day diff
i have a 2022 lexus nx 350h.. now im sad i didnt get 450, im also in ontario... i dont get a rebate.. and yeah i agree 5000 is nothing

No pano roof or Mark Levinson in the top trim 450H+…… what was Lexus thinking? Luckily the 2024’s or 2025 450H+ F-Sport 3 WILL have the Mark Levinson….. but still no pano roof 😢
Go buy a EURO & "check Your Engine Nightmare" Fat too much stress, I simply wish to relax and know I will Make it to the hosp or buss meeting...not to the Service department!

...............REVIEW because those of us who did our due research and bought one of these EARLY rather than the TROUT jus lo0king around but were not serious car enthusiasts Have a vehicle that has gone up in Value AFTER driving it3ofdf the lot!!!! ALL Eoro and dog Korean competitors LoooooooooooooSe your money 30 to 50% of original cost first two years...Soooooo econ 101 plays BIG as this model is the only one made in Japan so very scarce....Order and wait or Do not complain....go get a dog eared beeeeeemer cedes or genisis Korean crap!
