I have owned my lucid air for just over 7 months now base model with 417 miles on full charge, absolute In love with the car, best car I have ever owned, everything is just brilliant about the car, I believe that Lucid will take over the car industry
From this it looks hands down like the best car ever! Crazy aero tech and engineering!!!!

The only downside I've heard about is it's price point, which is at a difficult market segment to get into as a new brand. But for every fewer Tesla or Chinese-backed (or even focused on that Asian market) brand on the road, I'm all for it. The first EV that excites me after that cute Honda, where they forgot to add a battery...
i recommend watching savagegeese in depth review of lucid air, im surprised with their attention on details. its properly engineered 👍

I have a GT-Performance. They advertise it as 1050 HP but the window sticker said 1111 HP. The GT-P performance also has the upgraded suspension. It is a completely amazing car. Crazy fast, beyond comfortable and handles beautifully.

If I had to get an electric car, it would be either the Lucid, new Taycan, or something outrageous like the Rimac or McMurtry- given the funds were unlimited. The Tesla doesn't have anything over this that I'd care about- exterior, interior, and handling all belong to Lucid, and now even 0-60&1/4mile with the Sapphire.

One thing i would not want to sit in the back as an adult for longish trips.
If you look how you had to anhle your legs this would cause blood cirtulation issues for longer trips.
And as all evs way too bloody expensive for normal people with normal jobs

The lower trim Lucid Air's like the Touring and Pure actually have more leg room back there but have a smaller battery as a trade off.
The battery is modular and they remove one of the modules in the rear allowing for more leg room, albeit with less range. More affordable though!
Does the car get a lot of attention in Germany? Here in the US I always have people coming up to me to ask about it. Just wonder if it is the same there.

@@THjorth yes. The top arms and the suspension at the top is the same layout. The bottom is the same too but reversed.
As mine has active dampers I'm not changing it but my 2003 Seat Arosa TDI does have bilstein suspension as only the best will do. 👍🏼

Every CZcamsr Promoting EVs. Maybe the manufactures pay you well, but nobody likes these cars.
drive a Lucid _properly_ and you might change your mind. But I'd highly recommend driving one before sharing an opinion on it

Yeah i dislike it too, its so obvious. Nevertheless, the Lucid looks nice inside out. But yeah, the EV promotion in media is insane.
No one is paying me. I am a car guy. I like cars. I don't care if it's a diesel, EV, hydrogen or lpg.
