  • The eleventh edition of the Gay Games, a quadrennial sporting and cultural event that celebrates sexual diversity, will be held in Hong Kong from November 3rd to the 11th - a first for the city and the rest of Asia.
The Games are open to all - regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, age (above 18), or ability. Athletes from across the world will be traveling to Hong Kong to compete in a variety of sports: Dragon Boat Racing, Football, Martial Arts, Rugby 7s, Trail Running, and many more. Coinciding with the athletic competitions will be arts and cultural events which all together aim to contribute to positive social change and uphold the Games’ founding principles: participation, inclusion, and personal best.
Join the FCC as we sit down with three of the Games’ organisers / LGBTQ+ advocates to discuss their impact on Hong Kong and what it means to be the first in Asia to host such a sporting event.
Moderated by FCC First Vice President Jennifer Jett.
