I have been dating a Filipina for 2.5 years. It took me 2 months to find a girlfriend online. We spent two months hanging out in the Philippines together and she is my fiancé now.
I started my quest for a partner in Thailand in 2017 but the language was an issue. I am not a big talker so i needed someone with personailty and a sense of humour. after 6 months decided to try the philippines because most speak english. First contact was with a 19 year old filipina in Ormoc but much too young i thought? eventually went to the PH and met a 44 year old (I was 67) and a couple of girls in late 20's but just didn't feel connection. So 6 moths after chatting with the Ormoc girl made the trip there still thinking much too young but she made me laugh. Well it's 6 years later and we are living in Sydney Australia, never been so happy, never felt so loved... we play touch football together, swim evry day, she works part time to support her family... btw she is a qualified teacher... I really think the education is a vital consideration...
I met a lot of women there a week ago, but some of them are players. I met some crazy ones, possessive ones, and ones that are pretending just to have a good time. But honestly its easy to meet someone. But to find a good one with a good job, no kids, an education? Good luck
I'd say near zero luck, unless she's just after the green-card (again, no luck as fake love). If you have to pay for it, in some form, it's still P4P.
Hey Chad, you hit the nail on the head on the last part of your video, finding a girl who you trust and is girlfriend material is very difficult. I was in PH last year and visited Dumaguete and Cebu. I was there for six weeks. Dumaguete was very hard to find a girl. Even online, there wasn't that may options and the girls were standoffish and wouldn't answer you back or ghost you. Cebu was a different story, there are a lot of girls online and you can set up a lot of dates. But there is one big problem, lot of them seem genuine in the beginning but ask for money later. There are a lot of girls asking for money in all different levels and that for me is not okay. So difficulty is first to find a girl who doesn't ask for money and then amongst those find one you are attractive to and compatible to which I didn't find on that trip. Maybe the next trip will be better.

Philippines seems like a great place to live. I have the added advantage that Im single, fiercely independent and extremely tight fisted when it comes to money matters, so Im not interested in looking for relationships, and consequently no chance of getting scammed either which is a bonus. Its one problem I dont have to deal with in my life. its kind of empowering

You have to try. Regarding the bus idea, having married a woman from a different country this is a strategy I used then. Don't be cheap and offer to buy one for a chaperone too. It will show you're genuine and bring a sense of security to her. Will you get the occasional woman and her friend that just want a free day in town and don't give a rat's a$$ about you? Yes you will. How much do 2 bus tickets in the Philippines cost though....

I found out the deeper you go in the Province you can meet and date beautiful women every day of the week by just talking normal to them showing kindness and respect ... just a simple HI to start ❤❤
When it comes to philippines ive done it all. Im happily married with 2 kids now but it takes time , Advice for newbies its going to take along time to find miss right, start online look for red flags, dont go all in on one girl because when you go there and spend time with them you will probably find more red flags , you might need to change girls, alot of girls will try to get you to be committed but if its not100% right get out and move on. Dont feel you need to stay with her because youve been chatting for 4 months. plan on many months and many trips before you find your match.
Took me one week to propose, didn't even "date" but videochatted. I've been to her place twice she's been with me post-marriage 3 times. 7 weeks total. We've had 3 incidents where she thinks I don't care or that I'm seeing someone else. She thought I was a "scam" and her family had told her that I was, but now she knows I'm the real deal and vice versa.

Can confirm some of the best women I met came from the distant provinces in Cebu.
They took a bus to meet me and stay with me for a couple days. And by the way, most of the time they refuse your money when you try to give them a couple hundred pesos for their bus ride.
Chad, could you define "romantic companion" in terms of physical intimacy? I just havent found any discussions of what to expect. I mean, I have no interest in one night stands, but at the same time, don't want to wait 'til our wedding night. I mean, when is going for a goodnight kiss going to seem way too forward? I dated in my 30's in Miami, where first date sex was almost the norm, but expect women (particularily small town province women, vs big city girls) to be be on a much slower timeline. I think a video discussing these topics could be big, because no one talks about it. Thanks!
If you are over 40, fat, have a bad personality, don't bother going. It is not like the stories of old. I can tell you I am 59, in good shape and would like to think I have a decent personality. Easily had 20 women in various age groups show immediate interest in me. I have a girl already, so I obviously declined or didnt pursue. This was in CDO. Get fit and leave your baggage in the US. You will do fine.
I started turning my life around in 2019. I'd gone on vacation to a family reunion and got videoed doin one of those jetpack water things in NC and realized that I had some blubber from several years of not exercising despite having a physical job, and additionally the Jetpak thing required balance to stay in the air and I kept crashing except a couple of times. The younger guy there had no issues. So I joined an MMA gym when I got back, then took my training into my house and ever since have been quite fitter than most with the years of shadow boxing (kick too) kettlebells, body-weight exercises, running, jump roping, HIIT, just got back from the beach in Palawan and Boracay many pictures and I am thankful that I decided to get in shape after years of just being a lazy dog homebody outside of work (not lazy). It made me look quite good in the pictures with my wife.

As someone who's almost 40 thanks for the heads up lmao. I always workout and many feel I look younger than my age. I still go clubbing back home too. Many old guys I see here look terrible and very unattractive. They don't workout, eat junk food, drink alcohol. So gross.

There are many good men in NA. Also there are many good women in NA. The issue is the bad ones influencing the good ones. In addition, chasing the "dream" aka rat race make many good people so busy not to have the time to search good person. The overall culture is corrupted in NA but good people exist.

My personal experience is that the dating here in the Philippines has been like a dream, even better than I thought, or any of the youtube channels tell you. 38 and in shape. Tons of wife type material girls everywhere I date.. it's hard to choose just one :)

In general you get better matches and meet more quality women on the dating sites when in the Philippines. When was in the Philippines i deleted my account and created a new one there and have my girlfriend now who is everything i was looking, so i am glad i saved up and took the trip there if not would have never met her. Also what sucks is when you go online before arriving and already have a relationship some guys get buyers remorse because there are better looking girls in the Philippines that are not online more reasons to take the trip
Good point. But, all found were freelancer types when there and money stories when not there. Is a GPS based app the one to use so the transaction can take place that day? I never found genuine romantic love which is based on hot looks (necessary according to psychologists).

As someone who's almost 40 I wouldn't find anyone over 50 a good match for me. Since you're in your 60s why not find a widow perhaps close to your age range? Many in Philippines here and you'd have much more in common with other baby boomers perhaps versus Millennials.
