Filipinas want stability and the fact older men are a lot less likely to cheat.
Older men don't want children and they only have 15 years of relatively good health. The remaining ten years of their lives you'll be changing his diapers or visiting him in at the Home.
Marry people close to your age so you can experience things for the first time and go through the same hardships
They probably can’t cheat.
I corresponded with my Filipina at least 6 months before going to the Philippines to meet. She was from Almeria, but working in Manila. Very sweet beautiful girl. I think the women from the provinces are most traditional. The thing about not rushing into a relationship, is that you have months to gain knowledge of the person. This is a very seroius thing, so you make note of everything the she says. If she is not being up front with you, that will come through over time, because only truth is eternal, stories change. My Filipina never deviated in the things she said, so she appeared to be the real deal. Yes, I was twice her age, but I did not have any children, that was a priority for me. I’m one of the foreigners that have an age gap relationship with my Filipina. She is 33 and I’m 51. Our relationship is an LDR and we are 1yr. in. Our relationship works very well because we communicate twice a day religiously. Our schedules connect perfectly with 12 hour difference. And no, I did not meet her online but through a mutual friend here in the states. Thanks again for your content on this subject.
Thanks for sharing your story!
I wish you both the best in your relationship. Thanks for watching!
1yr LDR? Buddy, you are the only one in the relationship.
I video chatted with a Filipina for 2 months. She was great, we had fun chatting. I was clear from the start "just friends". She caught feelings a couple times, I reminded her "friends only" and she would calm down.
BUTT, and it's big BUTT, 1-3 hours chatting everyday was 1-3 hours I should have been doing other things.
And I'm aware online is a fantasy. Of course it's fun. You never have to make any decisions like where to eat. Always relaxed and focused. Real life is nothing like that.
The other giant issue is it gets the carabao before the cart. When a guy finds a Filipina online and then moves to PH he is almost always locked into living close to her family. I want to explore and find where I want to try living before looking for a Filipina.
So I shut down the chatting and I stayed off dating site.
That is not too much.

Every relationship is unique. If it works it works if it don't there is plenty of opportunities for both parties out there.
Most Filipinas prefer Filipinos. It's still a homogenous culture. But most Filipinas don't want to deal with a life of poverty. Most young Filipinas already have children. Dating old men is basically their only way out. Most Filipino men don't date a Filipina with Children. Foreigners do. This is no secret. You know I heard you make a comment 30 seconds into your video that seems to be a cliche with many bloggers. Older men
want younger women because of her youth and beauty and we know that looks fade over time. First rather then answering the
question as to why with your opinion have you ever asked older foreigners that question? Not one or two but a good sample.
Yes no doubt any man of any age (and woman for that matter) appreciates what is pleasing to the eyes. But to say that is the
driving force for them (most) is foolish and belittling to men. Looks may draw him but personality and character its what
will hold him. She is (hopefully) less jaded and scarred with a lifetime of failed relationships and life disappointments then a older
woman and he could maybe save her from ever going through that because he has lifetime knowledge. Also he is able to do things
that he could never do when he was younger because he is financially stable and he has time and wisdom on his side. As far
as her "beauty fading with time" goes. First if he is in his 60's, 70's and she is anywhere from mid 20's to I would say early 40's,
chances are he will fade from this life before his Filipina's beauty fades. More importantly physical beauty and attraction is
more important in the beginning then later. When you are with a good person as time goes on you see the inner beauty or ugliness
more than the outer. Sorry for making this so long, but I have been seeing this statement made over and over again and felt I had to
sayh something.
I get your point. Thanks for sharing your perspective! I appreciate the time you took to leave a comment! Thanks for watching!
Thank you for recognizing the natural differences in what men and women appreciate.
Men value fertility, which is associated with youth, and they also value beauty, which is nature's way of creating attraction.
It's a way of keeping men committed to their partners. Without these aspects, men arebless likely to stay and support their children.
Their interest would only be to provide for themselves.
Thats true historically but more and more women today value looks as much as men. Its why 20% of men on dating apps get 80% of the women
All eminently sensible. The changes from the past are toxic, as you say, with foreigners, in particular, playing around when they go there with little or no intention of a lasting relationship. The result is that Filipino women are often far more cautious about dating foreigners who are in the Philippines.
Yes, that's what I've observed.
Thank you for watching and for commenting!

Here is what bothers me with age gap relationship... When the older man doesn't take care of the filipina after he dies .I have seen this two times with expats who died and left the wife with no money.. if a filipina is not a US CITIZEN she has to be 62 yrs old for her to get his pension..if she is a Citizen of US she gets his pension at 35 years old. My friend died last year and his wife got nothing and she had to move back with her family in the province..this is Sad. and the wife is in Worse position then before she got married. .the husband needs to have a life insurance policy for his wife after he dies
Yeah, that's interesting. I think some people just don't do planning, or at least have that discussion. That is sad!
I am surprised the Filipina didn't stay here in the US. She could have worked here. I think that would be better than going back home to that same difficult situation. I guess she wanted to live with her family, not to mention it would be very difficult if she is all alone here. Well, I guess I answered my question lol.

She gets his Estate much sooner, than if he were younger. That means she can go on to score another Mark while she is still young enough to look appealing
I’ve been married for 8 years to my wife. There is a 22 (YES, 22) year age gap between us. I am very blessed that I have found someone who I love very much and plan to spend the rest of my life with.
Your analysis is pretty much spot on. One thing you didn’t mention is that in some cases an older man and younger woman are on the same maturity level. That can be a good or bad thing. In our case, we have been fortunate because my wife and I enjoy the same things. We are both homebody’s, we have many of the same interests e.g. music, tv, movies, food (she loves to cook and I love to eat LOL), politics (most of the time😉) and family. I love her sense of humor. And she (bless her heart) finds me entertaining as well.
Prior to our meeting, I was married for almost 25 years 😱 to a woman who immigrated to the states, from the Philippines, 4 years before I met her. And while she gave me 2 beautiful children, our marriage was difficult from the start. She was, in my opinion, a high maintenance person who had insecurity issues going back to her childhood. Ultimately, we (thankfully) ended our marriage while we were still young enough to move on with our lives. It was a difficult transition that left some scars but it was very much for the best.
I guess what I really want to say is that there is someone for everyone. And in my case, my one and only was born 22 years apart from me. And for those who are curious. I just turned 60 and I met my soon to be wife when I was 48. And I have told her that she is the one I have waited for all my life. Thank you for allowing me to share. And always remember that haters are always going to hate. God bless and good luck.
You have very good insight. 👍 this is the first time I watched one of your videos you have a distinct accent. Your English is excellent but I wonder what the accent is.
Thank you! I am from the Bicol Region of the Philippines. My hubby has a bit of a Southern accent. I guess mine is a mix of both 😅.
It's a transaction. Women want security and men want (you know what). I tried the large age gap twice and it didn't work. I found one closer to my age, 13 years younger, and we are going to live there. Most everything you said is absolutely true. I was told by a Filipina woman who was the landlord to the apartment I rented to do what you said, play the field. Even after I was with the woman I was with and still am. In front of her she didn't say that. Two faced. I have all the qualities you mentioned, light color eyes, large bridge nose, slim, and 90% of my hair, lol, albeit over 60.
When you say back in the day you sound 70. But you look 25
It feels that way for me.😅
I'm in my 40s. Thanks for the comment!
I have a home in General Santos city. I am just a two minute walk from Manny Pacquiao’s home. I met my Filipino wife through a friend, and corresponded for almost a year before I travel to the Philippines to meet her. There is a 22 year difference our age. But once I met her and her family, and so I just out incredibly mature, responsible and reliable she was, I decided to start dating her seriously. She very much enjoys the traditional role of housekeeper, caretaker, and preparing meals. She had a son by previous relationship and the father abandoned them. We’ve been married almost 30 years, and I raised her son as my own. We purchased a home in general Santa city and invited her parents to live in it while we were in America. Thanks to her and her family. I have had a wonderful life. If an American dates a Filipina with dignity and respect, the family will accept them. It is quite traditional for a husband of a Filipino wife to send a little bit of money home each month just to help the family. $200 a month and the Philippines goes along, traveling to the Philippines on holidays is such a wonderful experience.
Very true
Awesome video. I absolutely agree with you. I tell men my age at 57-year-old dont send money to women you never met. I lived in Phillipines and yes its poverty and money is hard to come by. Alot of women would prefer 🤔 fillipino men. But they will take a older foreigner to help them financially. Great video.
Interesting topic. I believe that a lot of educated women in Asia over thirty have a tough time marrying guys in their age group because the Asian guys in their country want younger ladies. Probably some real gems in the over 30 category that might appreciate/consider an educated older Western guy.

We'll be married sometime next year and couldn't be happier. Salamat for your opinions po
sometimes it's not "playing around" but rather that we date to really get to know each other. However, the Filipina may be ready to be in a serious relationship NOW, planning the future, etc., after just a few dates and even speaking about love. Most western men are more cautious and looking for real compatibility, so we move into serious relationships more slowly. So our very seriousness about being with the right woman gives her the impression of not being serious. Hmmmmmm I think men and women are basically incompatible, but we are compelled to seek each other out because God is obviously a prankster!!
I appreciate your perspective! Thank you for sharing!

It's not just the Philippines, but other not western countries that the age gap is normal. Thru all of history, women always searched for an established man 10-20 years her senior.... it made sense, he got fertility, yourh and beauty, she got provisions, protection and stability...
My only issue with a Filipina is that when you bring up culture or beliefs, they can't or mostly won't accept polygyny, even if you bring up the history of small tribes and multiple wives pre-spaniah invasion or that the T'Boli peoples still live that way. Three wives to a husband
I was 56 when I started dating a 21 year old Chinese. We married two years later and now I’m 72 she 37 and still married.
Me and my partner only have a 3 1/2 year age gap, and three years older than her and we’ve been together for 2 1/2 years now and we are both working on them back to United States
We are both in our 20s. I think when you talk about like a 50 year age gap I think there might be a little bit a problem, but I think you have to find someone will you and her have similar values and on the same game plan.
I agree with you here.

Ken Griffey Jr. in the background on the wall. My favorite Baseball Player. You just became my best friend.
I will move to Philippines. Retirement is so much more affordable in Philippines. Inflation in USA is to crazy now .
You are entitled to your own opinion, but marrying a foreign man , young or old from a “ First World “ country has its advantages financially and for better future of the children. Have you heard a Filipina marrying an old man from a Third World country outside the Philippines? In general, the Filipino women do the ultimate sacrifice to lift the family from poverty. Mothers with young children works abroad to provide financially to their family. Some suffers horrific abuse( from their employers), homesickness and mental health issues. I married a foreign man , he is descent, sincere,he loves me unconditionally . Our son is highly educated, good looking and have a good job. I do not regret marrying an older man, I was mature for my age when I married him , age is never an issue. Blame the Philippine government, instead of looking after the people , the politicians look after their pockets.
Love is so rare in general. I live in Manila. I'm single looking for a serious Filipina and I can't find her.
You play guitar Nice!
Not me. My husband does.
There is 40 years difference between my Filipina wife and me. We knew each other for 4 years before we were engaged; we were engaged for 2 years before we were married and now we have been married for 2 and a half years and there are not any problems. More than that it has been great. She came to the US and we were married here. At this point we are in love. There are other things in that I support her family. I am healthy and we are having fun. Yes, I may die within 20 years, and we knew that. From the security side, she may get 750,000 USD when I die. We are trying to have a child and I have no problem with it. I know the relationship is much more than money. If she would have married someone her age with a terminal disease who would die in 20 years, no one would have a problem with it. If i can satisfy her physical and emotional needs, then it pisses me off that people judge.
Speaking of the OLD FOOL🤷
Hey James, I understand your situation. If you both are happy it's no one's business but your own. No one has a right to judge you = even though you'll get lots of criticism. It's mostly bitter old women or brainwashed men who think that it's their right to judge other peoples' choices. There are taboos in the West against age gap relationships, as you know. Even in the Philippines, they exist, but people are more understanding there, as they recognize the factors that draw people together with significant age gaps. I've also experience discrimination in the Philippines with my much younger gf and I know that we'd experience a lot more here. It's the price you pay if you choose to take that route. Good luck to you guys and ignore the haters!
Well, I can tell you this. There's one definite way you can find out if She just wants to get out of the Philippines. And it's not for true love. Tell her during the dating process. You'd eventually like to move to a nice area of the philippines
That is a very good idea. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
Too young or too old is for the couple to decide. It's nobody else's business
8:29 Can you explain how that makes sense, please? It seems if the guy is in country already he is way more likely to be real, commitment type tp PH and a women there, etc.
It's easy to get overwhelmed with options once you are already in the country. One advantage of talking to someone long distance is that, there is a physical barrier that allows both parties to focus on getting to know each other without distractions (i.e. being physically intimate). Of course, there's pros and cons to an LDR, too.
Social media doesn't help, with others encouraging other men to explore first rather than taking the serious route (courtship that leads to marriage).
This doesn't apply to everyone, I'm sure some foreigners already in PH are genuinely looking for a serious relationship. On the other hand, those who are just visiting don't have any intentions of getting into a relationship at all. But a friend said, she noticed that there's seems to be an influx of the dating type. Meaning not wanting to get married.
I appreciate the feedback. Thanks!
@@conservativefilipina Thank you for taking time out to reply.
My wife is currently thirty six I am sixty two .
After she got here and basically saw the lie projected by the media in her country. On how great the American dream was. We now want to move back to Africa. She's from Kenya, so the best thing to do is toprated. God, and let him bring a relationship together. And let no man separated
I'm 66yrs and had a variety of flippina gf's-most under 26yrs. While, the conversations are short; the sex isn't.
Currently, residing in puerto galera on mindoro in the Philippines.
That's the way to go..😊, you don't have to buy bakery to eat bread.......👍
it is sex for the foreign guy and financial security for the younger Filipina. What's wrong with it? Nothing. Win-win for both.
