Bike Check #17 GT AGGRESSOR PRO

Hey mtb'ers! This time we are checking a GT Aggressor Pro, a budget friendly beginner mtb that can be purchased at Dick's Sporting Goods. GT has been around for a long time and used to be bike shop bikes, but now some department stores carry select models. Nothing wrong with department store bikes, just need to make sure they are assembled properly. On this one, you get a lot of bang for your buck. At around $500, it is hard to find a better specced bike at pricepoint. Bike is upgradeable so for a beginner rider that sticks to shredding, there are several budget friendly upgrades that can be made. Do your research , there are many brands like GT out there that make quality frames and remember that most of the time the only thing that changes on entry level bikes IS the frame, so try to find better specs on bike with your budget. Things like service and warranty also important! Again, do some homework.
