Bike Check #18 FOCUS BLACK FOREST 27R 3 0

Hey XC pain seekers! This time we check out this awesome Focus Black Forest 27R 3.0, 2014 model. I would rate it as a beginner to intermediate level hardtail XC bike. It has some nice components, however for a serious XC rider, it would not be the best specs. One thing I did not mention in video is the weight, at around 29lbs, it is not the heaviest but not very light either. Swapping out wheels and fork for something lighter could save several pounds. Being a used bike that's 10 years old at time of making video, it can be a nice deal for right price. Hard to compare features at MSRP with today's bikes. For a few hundred bucks, this bike does have much nicer components than your typical entry level mountain bikes and can be upgraded. Hope you enjoy video!
