Ladies, please don’t cheapen yourselves the way I did. I married a man who I have since learned is a narcissist. All of the red flags were there in the beginning. He is now trying to discard me whilst we are still married without divorcing me. He is trying to make me pay for things in the house. I reminded him that I am his wife, not his roommate. My situation is an extreme example of Miss Vivienne’s teaching. However, if he gets you cheaply in the beginning, it will continue to get worse as time goes on.

I practiced all these suggestions when I was dating except for the part about not having sex. I have never done one-night stands or sex on first dates but I try to hold off on sex for the longest time till get to know a man better before I do it. Everything changes once you have sex which is very intimate and there's no turning back once it's done, so it's best to wait.
I am now happily married to a man for 20 years who has become my best friend in the process. We take care of each other with kindness and respect. These suggestions are effective and I hope more women will follow if they want to be married to the right person.

A boyfriend tried to take me ring shopping. But it was a promise ring😑. I declined. A few months later I realized he never wanted to get married. The ring was for me to stay as his girlfriend! I had to break up with him. It hurt but I'm glad I did it.
My sister now fiancé gave her a promise ring and almost 2 years later he proposed to her

Instead of worrying about every little thing, I’ve learned to live in the moment because that’s all we have now. There are many laughable moments as well as tearful but tender moments. I made so many mistakes due to lack of self esteem, itself due to an abusive upbringing. I was over 50 before I realised and fixed it. Now I help guide young women, which is the most rewarding thing in the world :) We ALL need to guide younger ladies, they don't choose to damage themselves, they just don't know better.

One thing easiest to do for women who want to be more elegant is learning to 'let go' and move on from situations that are menial. Arguing with people endlessly, especially on social media, brings no value, gossiping and creating drama only takes up time and energy that could have been used more productively. We are all connected and affected by social media but one of the best things I did many years ago is to disable all notifications unless I specifically follow an event or a person.
