Been painting up big wagggh for the last few months and now it’s gone lol. So looks like I have a small force of kruleboyz and ironjawz. I need to decide which one I want to focus on now. Kruleboyz look fun though.

💚I would be very happy if Kruleboyz really got their own separate Сodeх as well as a big update to their miniature line. What we really need:
10 models unit of orruk archers squad.
10 models unit of orruk with dual paired weapons.
5-10 models cavalry unit.
Large warmachine, like a catapult.
This would allow me to use my Greenskinz and Bonesplitterz (old fantasy models that are adapted to the Mortal Realms, and therefore will forever remain on round bases) as a proxy with propa roolez.
AOS has tempted me for a while. Fancy a new army so gonna give the Kruleboyz a go. Hope they do better in 4th.
What happened to the Swamp Shaman?! I'll just have to wait and see the full breakdown, can't wait!
We must assume that the Orruk Warclans divorce is real now and Ironjaws get their own book??

Haven’t played yet, bought the models in anticipation of 4th. Looks good. Let’s have a deep dive when the index drops, please. I’m in that rare minority that actually prefers the look of Krewlboyz over traditional Orcs/orruks.
There's a few things I don't like about the faction focus, but its s huge step up for kruleboyz overall.
The rules actually look fun to play with.

After playing kruelboyz for like 4 years now I do like these changes but am worries about how the swampcalla shaman will work with its potions and poisons ability

As a swamp boggler from release this gets me excited. Can't wait to see the rest of the scrolls. I hope the mirebrute troggoth still slaps.

New Dirty Tricks are amazing. The previewed warscroll are fine though Gnashtooth is a miss for me.
the only aspect of this one that puts me off is the seeming disolution of the Orruk Warclans. I just bought a few Ironjaws when the Ardboyz got their new models and were playing them with my Kruleboyz. It seems like that might not be possible anymore, which does mean I have more than a few models (and a big boar) that I might not be able to use anymore
otherwise, the rules and combos themself seem absolutely awesome
Two armies is a good place to be. They will still have some similar stats so you could definately learn both armies and have a good time 🎉

Finally I can throw Venom Encrusted weapons on Hobgrotz.
You could, but it wouldn't do a whole lot. I very much doubt they'll have the crit (mortal) ability on their weapons, so making them crit on 5's would have very limited benefit
I could see it on their sulphuric bang-stikk grenades.
Maybe a niche combo for a short range high damage Covering Fire unit. 😄💥
@@timma000, yeah. I assume they have mortals on their weapons. Coz majority of abilities changed wording from KRULBOYZ ORRUK to KRULBOYZ INFANTRY.
They had Crit (2 hits) before and they'll most likely keep that. Venom encrusted weapons gives you Crits on 5+ regardless of whether it's mortals, 2 hits or auto-wound
@@markpandelidis2079 well, they have that on melee only. I wonder if GW will change anything for ranged weapons they have.

My issues is that the first dirty trick should always work. Then the roll should come after that and go no higher than a 4+.
Strangle Hex just feels like the Killabow ability repurposed.
Yeah, it just feels bad planning around a certain first dirty trick just to than roll a 1 😅
But we'll have to see until we can play it, it does look way more fun than our current ones and if it's weak they should be able to tweak it easier ^^
No way. You can choose them any phase now. That's mental.
Cross our fingers that some unit gives +1 to the rolls or maybe a battle formation.

Giving destruction factions these "target enemy unit wholly within" X range abilities sucks, frankly. It feels bad to be on the other side of the table and have your opponent move their unit to well within 18", then scoot the model in the back just a hair outside to prevent them from being in range even though the rest of the unit might even be in charge range. Goofy, bad rules writing choice IMHO.
If anyone’s exempt from the 2 Wizard Lord of Change critique it’s the Git that’s carrying around the arm of one as a trophy he won in a magic duel. 😁🪄
Dirty tricks looks so fun now! Even plays on Kruleboyz love of gambling & their “Kasinos”.
