That is why I invented the best bale spear ever, also known as the super spear 2.0! Nothing better than a skid steer for unloading bales and putting them inside. Also works great in the field if you only have one tractor.
My Son and I Never really have liked Skid Steers, simply because they tear up the ground either in the field or around the sheds.... They also have height and reach limitations.... My Son and one other Helper can put a Trailer load(25-to 28 4x5 rounds stacked on end under cover in less than 30 minutes We have moved and stacked over 700 bales 15 miles in 2 days,,,
@farmingforfunandprofit940 I agree that skid steers are rough on the ground but they sure are handy and quick in the barn
@@farmingforfunandprofit940 It depends on your soil conditions and the types of tires you use. Tractors can leave more tracks than some skid steers. Wide smooth tread tires are great for moving bales around a field.
