Yeah...everone always freaks out at gold tones in hair. On me, I can do pale neutral or pale golden blonde. Platinum blonde or ashy blonde makes me look like a cadaver!! lol
i learned it the hard way! i kept asking for ashy tones and was in denial that i didnt look good in warm tones. it took a long process and lots of $$ to realize that! my favorite color is a warm dark brown on me
Love the zig zag technique and can’t wait to try it. But what I love more is that you always include a clip talking about a social issue with your model. I went back to cosmetology school to help people feel great about themselves and that includes internally as well! Thanks for all you do!

Warm hair colors go with a warm skin tone. Cool colors go with a cool skin tone.
What are your irises looking like? Often times, eyes have flecks of warm and cool. Its not always about skin.
I worked with a lady that kept a small blanket the size of a baby blanket made of satin one side was gold the other side silver. It was a great visual to see each side one one single client. Try it.

Cream or off white makes me look like a corpse. However bright white or clear blue are my go to colors. I'm blue eyed, olive skinned, my entire family has the same coloring. What colors look great on your family?

I really loved the fact that yall talked about body image!! People need to stop body shaming other people and bullying other people for how they look! usually... if you are cool toned skin tone you want to have warm hair color.(opposite of what you like for makeup colors) I am warm toned..so I like ashy.

The cor was gorgeous but I'm OBSESSED with the bit they discussed body types and embracing all types natural or otherwise.
And as for body shaming when I was younger I looked at too many teen magazines. I thought my body was awkward and not the right shape because it doesn't look like their bodies. I grew up with that notion thinking women had to look a certain way in this world. But I am older and I have learned that everyone has a unique body. We should own it, embrace it but also keep it healthy. So thank u Guy Tang for supporting that not everyone looks the same. Social Media has molded us into something superficial and we must break that mold.

I usually hate warm tones for myself with the exception of eyeshadow but now I want this color, maybe a slightly darker/redder version I could pull off better
