You won't believe the exchange I had with McDonald's on Twitter at the end of the video. The question today is simple: who has the best fast food breakfast sandwich? Like any good crispy chicken sandwich, burger, or fries, there are so many options to choose from. Today, I also brought along a random subscriber, Ryan, who was picked from the 'Community' page by my camera guy Manny. Fun fact - Wendy’s did breakfast in the early 80s. I worked there. It was a very different menu. Omelets (3 varieties), French toast with maple or blueberry syrup, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage. It was excellent, but labor intensive.
I worked as a crew chief at a non-franchise location, and we did all the test and limited market items.

Manny did a fantastic job of picking Ryan. 👏 I agree that the McGriddle has always been my favorite breakfast item. I think you would have done better with a Chick-fil-A Breakfast Burrito, instead of those bites. The Taco Bell breakfast crunch wrap is pretty good. I had after watching this video. I think a cool video idea would be to go the next level and do breakfast inside restaurants, like an Eggs Benedict level.
Who else loves to eat while watching food vids? there's just something about eating while watching someone else eat preferably the same food.
This morning eating McGriddle while watching Nick eat his McGriddle. The McGriddle is definitely the OG of breakfast sandwiches and will always have a special place in my ❤!!!

The thing about fast food restaurants is that other than the ingredients the quality of how it’s actually made varies so much from each individual establishment
I honestly just started watching the channel and this is the first video I watched and I really enjoyed it! Ryan gave the vid a great presence and it was a great introduction at least for me to the channel. If you need someone to ride around with for the day for food I’d be glad to help lol. I’m 16 but I’ve lived in Mass for my whole life and I think I know some good places for food. Awesome vid!
Ryan definitely seems like he does this professionally lol! I don't think they're on the east coast, but my favorite breakfast sandwich is the ultimate breakfast sandwich from Jack in the Box. The bacon is crispy and the eggs are real fried eggs.

P.S: For breakfast at Chick-Fil-A, you need to get the chicken biscuit that they have. It along with McDonalds are probably the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had. It is much better than the breakfast from Chick-Fil-A that you tried (and it has chicken :D) Love the videos!!

For Chick Fil A you’ve gotta go with the Crispy Chicken Biscuit sandwich. If you’re feeling fancy you can add some pepper jack cheese, bacon and your sauce of choice. You will not be disappointed.

My favorite fast-food breakfast sandwich is the Breakfast Burger from Carl's Jr. It's a burger with cheese, bacon, hash browns and a fried egg. And it's the one exception to my general rule that ketchup doesn't belong on a burger, because ketchup goes so well with both hash browns and eggs. It really works!
Another fast-food breakfast I'm fond of is Burger King's Breakfast Burrito Jr. meal. They also have an Egg-Normous Burrito breakfast, but I prefer the Jr. version. It gets you two small breakfast burritos, with a side of hash browns and a drink. I'll typically eat one burrito and the hash browns right away, and then save the second burrito for an afternoon snack.

Wendy's Chicken Honey Butter Biscuit gives Chik Fil A a run for their money.
I tried out their Chicken Biscuit there, but I haven't tried it with honey before (heck I haven't tried out honey in my life).
I’m not sure if Jack in the box is over in the New England area but they have pretty good breakfast. And yes bring Ryan back please he’s very enjoyable to watch.

Also, Manny, if you ever crave scrapple or Philadelphian-Italian cuisine, feel free to think about coming down to Delaware. I can easy peasy get a list together of the best spots to try across the state, as its only 2.5 hours from the tippy top to the mason-dixon line. Maybe even an east coast road trip could make a good series!
A series of road trip videos for areas known for a particular kind of cuisine would be awesome. For example, drive the overseas highway in the Florida Keys and hit up mom & pop places trying various seafood staples like fish sandwiches, seafood soups/chowders, conch fritters and drinks like rum runners and desserts like Key Lime Pie.

@nickdigiovanni I hope you see this question!!! I'm really curious what is your opinion on food that is pre-made that you can buy? Like Starbucks. I feel like a lot of people don't know that their food comes pre-made and they kind of just heat it up in the store.. at least that's how it is in Canada.. Baristas have even told me before that they can't even spread cream cheese on a bagel for you because they don't have their food handlers certificate (which I find crazy because I've worked at fast food places and didn't need a food certificate thing lol). When you rated the Starbucks sandwich did you take in account already that its pre-made, did you know it was pre-made? what's your opinion on that as a cheft? Can it be as healthy/ good (or even better?) as stuff made in house fresh?

In my opinion the sweetness of the pancake on the McGriddle is balanced out by the smokiness and savoriness of the sausage
My favorite French toast sticks are the ones from burger King and i always wait till I get home so I can use actual maple syrup
