The idea of having a debate about this makes me lose hope for mankind... It's scary!!!
I have hope for mankind, it's just not in charge.
It really is.
At least it's happening. Some parts of the West are just oblivious to the actively harmful consequences of gender identity ideology
It's actually THEYKIND, MATE
Shall we not have a debate then and let people do whatever serves their best interest at the expense of others instead . đ€·ââïž
This was her bringing clarity to their position⊠wow.
What didn't you follow???
@@tommoric376 Any of her blathering
@blurtam188 did you decide that before or after she spoke... because its pretty simple stuff
If these are the people in charge of "ending confusion" I don't wanna see what their version of clarity would look like, hahaha. The tories are cooked
@@tommoric376 Really? Explain it.
For someone who is 'trying to simplify things' she's either absolutely hopeless at explaining what she means, or she actually has no clue what she is talking about. Or both.
Think it's just a case of Tory HQ rolling out the black lady to take the edge off the trans bashing.
Tory desperation coupled with the usual politician's lack of understanding (limited education - look at Rayner!)
These people insult the average intelligence by trying to take the standards down.
â@@transcendance5358 Or she is trying to stop men having access to womens spaces but doesn't dare say that for fear of getting cancelled
or you dont understand it or want to.
Neither she nor the TV hosts can use the correct language. They're afraid of being cancelled by the mob or regulators. That's the root of confusion. Rewatch this and use men for transwomen. "Man" is NOT a slur. It's an ordinary word
How about focusing on the amount of poverty in this country????
Word.
How about you feeding the hungry.
@@paulthomas4917 I do! What about yourself?
@@jimmygreaves1 Well, you need to up your game if you need the government to tax people who may already be struggling themselves. No, I do not want the government to concern themselves with those in poverty as the Church does that task much, much more efficiently.
My church collects from the members who can afford to help with finances, those who can't afford to finance the work help in other ways.
The Government should protect the borders, and uphold property rights, that will limit the number in poverty and provide more cash in the pockets of those who WANT to help those in poverty.
Families have first call on the finances, not the government. when the family is secure then you move to the wider family, then to the community.
@@paulthomas4917 ok mate! Whatever you say lol
I'm more confused than ever... but I know I'm a male and I know this is getting ridiculous now
Only the establishment is confused.
It's offensive to the traditional labour voters the Torys had recently relied on to think just carrying on about national service and a bit of LGBT bashing is enough to keep their vote. They really aren't as thick as the Tories have profiled them as in the past week.
If any working class, true school Labour voters were ever fooled into voting for a Tory then sorry, they are every bit as daft as âJohnson,âSunak,âBraverman & the rest of them take them for. Especially when those âtraditional Labour votersâ had the chance to vote for the 1st PRO THE WORKING CLASS,EVERYDAY PEOPLES OF THE UK(regardless of their background)ABOVE ALL ELSE, true school Labour Party in decades, with Jeremy Corbyn as leader.
The current Labour leadership are an absolute disgrace in comparison to Jeremy Corbyns Labour Party. At least âCorbyns Labour Party actually stood for proper Labour principles, unlike this current lot of Tory lites.
It does look a bit desperate but it's a common sense policy and has a lot of support. The less men there are in women and girls' spaces the better
@nikobellic570 yeah but it's not a headline policy in an election campaign unless you think people are thick. You could probably count on one hand how many pre op trans women have been in a ladies toilet today nationwide
National servise is a fantastic idea.
â@@nikobellic570yeah true! What about trans men?
Kemi Badonoch's Ministry For Anti-Wokery is determined to keep on stoking the culture wars!
This kind of stuff is so far from, and so divorced from, the priorities of voters that I despair!
Male Female. There you go, sorted!
The confusion they have caused through cowardice and inaction. And which, by the way, Labour will make worse.
In the 50yrs iâve been on this planet this has never been an issue! Cant believe they spend so much time on issues that affect a minute percentage of the population.
What I think it's not important to 99% off people
It's been an issue in my workplace.
@@robharrison5893 there's been petitions which suggest it does matter to a great number of people.
@wolfhugs2221 sure I can find a partition on people who what all zoo's closed don't mean you should be talking about it as one off your main messages
@@robharrison5893 for those people who are seeking reassurance and clarity, this conversation means a great deal. Labour have flip flopped on the issue so of course the tories are going to bring it up. All labour need do is offer to do the same and it won't make the news.
Kemi Badenoch is the Secretary of State for the Department for Business and Trade. She remains Secretary of State for International Trade and President of the Board of Trade. She is also Minister for Women and Equalities for the Equality Hub. So a very busy Women. She joins the election campaign by NOT telling us how wonderful her post Brexit trade deals are, Not telling us how many Hospitals the Conservatives have Built, not telling us how wonderful the economy is at the moment. No she wants to change the Equalities Act - Distraction or what?
She might as well talk about the weather. One of the worst Tories to walk the corridors of power.
She wants to protect the rights and protections of over 50% of the population. You may think that's nothing but as part of that 50% I think it is an important issue
@@jen2569 How many trans people have you actually met? At best there are less than 60,000 trans. I mean no harm, good wishes to all etc. Live and let live.
But surely you are more concerned about people in hospital corridors or food banks?

Why bother they will not be the government in 4 weeks time
To influence the next government. There's little between them.

Girl, please. We have children in poverty in the Uk,education, housing, and better contracts for working people, and that's your priority. Am i missing something?

And this is the many reasons why they are so low down in the polls. We have serious issues within our NHS and social care system....seriously!đ
Trans men don't get prostate cancer. The MP got her words muddled
They have NO IDEA WHAT SO EVER
What a waste of time this debate is. Just stick to biologically-sexed space and services. I'm sure the human race hasn't changed since before the gender recognition act of 2004
Trans men are women facts.
Really!? Yes this probably happens but how many âbad actorsâ are we talking about here!? I bet it is significantly less than the amount of people struggling with the cost of living, inflation, NHS and other public services etc. This gender thing must be way down on the list of priorities for the country at this moment
It doesnât even make the list. Thatâs how much the Tories are trying to distract voters. The last thing they want to fight labour on is the cost of living, the housing crisis and NHS waiting lists.
It's a problem. It's fixable. So it's being fixed. Doesn't belittle, detract or deflect from those other issues
ââ@@nikobellic570if its a problem Niko, what do we do about trans men?

Yup, bizarre it's an issue
Iâm more confused than when I started the video đł
The person who seems to be most confused is Kemi Badenoch - I've just watched this and her interview on Sky and she has said completely different things - none of which actually give any clarity, they just add more confusion.
I read a lot on the law here and she is spot on
That's the plan
Well done đ she was spot on. It did take 14 years
Wow. The Tories are fixing a problem that didn't even exist until they interfered. Hands up who's shocked...not many then...
Just because you can't perceive the problem or aren't directly affected by it doesn't mean it isn't real and important
@@nikobellic570 Its not important, it affects tiny minority. The Tories are trying to make it a problem as they have no other policies.
No.. this problem was there all along... It's a mess in America.. and Now Female Rights are being marginalised by guys who can say "hey im a girl" and then go into a women's locker room or toilet by force and invade our privacy, and compete unfairly in sports, and take away our rights to be Uniquely biologically women. the world is forcing this Unisex agenda... the Torries are helping women keep their rights.
Labour actually began the interference
Most of us are not confused we know the difference between male and female

Parliament is confused the vast majority of people in this country are not ...
Sheâs trying to bring clarity

âItâs Something like thatâ
âItâs a lot more complexâ
Not really clarifying anything
Why is there any confusion in 2024?
The nations' most pressing issue: men in disguise who sneak into womens' locker rooms or who win in womens' sports.
It's easy for us guys not to care about women's rights. Empathy isn't really associated with masculinity as much as it is with femininity
Never mind all the children living in poverty!
Children in poverty have real things to worry about than what pronouns to use.
Poverty-stricken young girls and women make up 50 percent. They need to feel safe in their spaces. Google the crimes that men in dresses have committed. It's unacceptable, and didn't happen 25 years ago
Are the child poverty figures higher due to people choosing to identify as children.
@@KevenHutchinson-gt1nn talk about being confused đ
When did she stop being trade minister? She messed that up so now wants to mess this job up.
I was also wondering when she got downgraded. Not far enough though.

Only 0.10% of the population are trans women, even less so for self identifying. Whilst Kemi Badenoch is whittling about Gender ideology and playing culture wars, we the British public are concerned about the mental health crisis for young people and men. Also the NHS, the environment, the cost of living and education issues are far more important
The NHS seem very confused and captured on this issueâŠ

Im a women and i love been a women . I identify as a women . It is what it is.
I am biologicaly female . You are the gender you born
Mind you. While I'm a female and I'm glad I am. I fear other females . Most women scare have had unhappy experiences with women
You've "been" a woman - when was that???
@@childofthe60s100 I hope I answered your question in a satisfactory manner
I think what you meant to say was, you're a woman, you've been in love with a woman, and you identify as such (a woman) being biologically female.
Yes, and? That doesn't change the fact that the whole debate forgets the fact that there are women out there that don't want to go through things, can't, other problems etc, and yet they somehow get excluded from the whole debate!
It is always said that people are not worried about this and donât talk about it! Of course they donât because they are afraid to say what they really think and want because they are bullied and have a fear of cancellation. THEY HAVE BEEN BULLIED INTO SILENCE!
A better thing to do would be dish out contracts in the North Sea before Starmers blinding heart gets in office.
The waiting list to be seen at a gender clinic at the moment is around two years. The cost of gender reassignment surgery is anything from between ÂŁ10,000 and ÂŁ20,000. For top surgery only, the cost generally falls between ÂŁ5,000-ÂŁ8,000, including aftercare, not including hidden costs. They are failing people who are on their Transgender journeys as not all trans people can afford to "Pass". This is so much more complicated. I, a cis woman for one am in no way worried or scared about my safety when in a Women's bathroom with Trans women.
Shame on the tories once again! Pointing fingers at 0.1% of the population when 14% of the uk is facing homelessness, 15% are homless and hungry, the school systems and health systems are being drastically cut, no good mental health support suicide rates climbing up.
