I'm not a fan of national populism and I'm generally pro-immigration, but it's silly to conflate - as your comment does - regulated and unregulated immigration. It's also really foolish and actually extremely arrogant to dismiss the question of immigration as a red herring when vast numbers of the British and European public believe it to be a very serious matter indeed. It is by now abundantly obvious that failing to address normal people's concerns about immigration honestly just creates a vacuum which national populists capitalise on - if you want to combat national populism, start promoting honest - and moderate - conversations about immigration which don't shy away from the inconvenient truths... Failing that, the likes of Farage, Le pen, and Wilders will only gain more support and more power.

@@Bailiol I only dismiss the issues of the small boat immigration as a red herring. When compared to immigration as a whole. I am personally a fan of national populism. I can fully see where you’re coming from on everything though. Think maybe you read my comment from the wrong angle? Agree with you mostly. Perhaps our end goals are different though?

@@formulaic78 Yes and women aren't so much worried about whether you call yourself a woman or not as much as whether you are likely to use that to attack them.
My sister and a friend have both been attacked in women's toilets by men who sneaked in and toilets are a favourite attack spot for perverts who know they can pin you in a cubicle without the risk of any decent men being there to intervene.
It would almost make more sense to make all toilets open to all so perverts don't feel they can avoid consequences from men who aren't into letting perverts rape women in cubicles than to just let in the nicer innocent trans ones and the ones who use the trans issue to gain access to women but if you suggest that then everyone suddenly remembers how dangerous that could be for women because there won't be decent men there all the time to protect them and anyway what woman wants a man hanging around while she is peeing and crapping and changing a tampon etc.?
It is hard enough to go to the toilet in a public setting full of women as it is. WE hate it. Girls go trough years of waiting until they get home to have a pooh because they can't relax enough to let one out at school which doesn not help with concentrating in class (ask all the women you know about this if hey haven't told you because you have to feel prvate and safe to do that and not like everyone is outside the cubicle - they will be peeing in the bushes and getting kidney disease from holding pee in with boys or trans girls in school toilets.
Allowing biological men who claim to be women into toilets means perverts will pretend that they are trans to gain access and don't even have to sneak in and can wander in anytime they like. Also this makes people blame trans people who would be harmless but of course they are just people and some of them would not be harmless anyway like in any other group and would be stronger than most women and a real danger to them if they are given access to women's toilets.
I think it's time we had single toilets anyway in a so called civilised society with their own doors in the middle of shopping centres instead of a big room with some little doors on cubicles etc. - Individual toilets would be private and in public settings where you can't get away with trying to break in etc.. We have some in my local town in the main carpark but they are so filthy so often and full of needles etc. that it isn't safe to use them either. WE are at the stage in society where you need people to patrol and check around toilets etc..
I am so sick of things going to shit. Where are women supposed to be able to take their kids to all go to the loo together when they need with buggies etc.? M and S used to be fairly clean and no junkie needles but the loos are very cramped and the queues are often very long. We have enough to worry about when you can find a usable toilet without having to start worrying about perverts wandering in to do as they please on top of all that.

One of the reasons why the UK economy is so bad is foreign policy. Foreign policy gets a lot of attention and a lot of money is invested in it, but no leader pays attention to their Internal issues.
It is a pity that the government always pays less attention to the position of working-class families.
People who are living illegally in this country should be sent to their own country, not to Uganda.
Sadly, sometimes leaders talk too much and it's only brainwashed but people understand the hypocrisy of talk. 👀😡
