ABOUT THIS VIDEO
====================
In this video I explain my experience using Dromedary bags for storing overland vehicle water. These are a big improvement over water jugs and make your water last longer. Great for camp clean up, but not recommend for drinking since they can make the water taste weird.

It’s cool. I was surprised by how little water you really need to take a shower. This helps you economize even more.
Agreed. Funny thing, if you look at the thumbnail the water is frozen solid in that photo. I left it outside by mistake overnight :)
@@NorthwestBronco LOL I was going to add that I took showers at the Overland Expo PNW that included a limited jug of water. When you know you’ve only got so much, you learn to economize quickly! Excellent video, sir.
Great tip! Saw this in one of your earlier videos and this water bladder has been a staple in our overlanding gear ever since. It holds enough water to last us 3 days and it takes of no space in the Bronco. I find it much more practical than the traditional jerry cans with electric pumps mounted to them.
So glad you like it. Agreed, there's really no going back to another system. Just works! Thank you for the comment, I appreciate it!
Your vehicle window advertising works. I was just parked next to you at Home Depot an hour ago and checked out your channel. I'm into the same activity, different brand of truck. Subscribed!
Gotcha! You were in the Tacoma I believe? We should take a trip sometime. Would be nice to have some company. That is if you don't mind me filming along the way :) Thank you for the Subscription. I appreciate it!
@@NorthwestBronco Yeah, Tacoma... My overlanding is more ADV motorcycles and looking at building a 4th gen 4runner. I respect functional builds, not just pretty and expensive. Your videos are useful and practical for that.
@@Voiceofreason-fy7bo Gotcha, I can oly wish I has a motorcycle for exploring out there. Would cover a lot more miles in a day! Love those 4runners. I think that is a wonderful choice for a build. Comfy and capable for sure. I have a buddy who does nice videos on 4runner builds and is very helpful. I'll put a link below. That you for your kina words on my channel. I do the best I can ;)

That’s a great idea. 👍🏻
Thank you sir!

I am a Rotopax or water jug kinda guy myself.
I have several of those same MSR bags as well, and carry them with me in the desert in the event I need more capacity - along with a filter system that I put together many years ago that renders swamp water almost as clean and sterile as distilled water. However, I don't use them for drinking water as although they are safe, they put off a taste that can kill a cup of coffee.
Agreed. I don’t use them for drinking water. Camp water only. Got the idea from a guy who overlanded around Africa. Wonderful!
@@NorthwestBronco With my water filter system and my MSR bags, our week long kayak trip down the Willamette allowed me to make super clean water along the way that was better tasting and safer than our city tap water, from the river itself.
@@insaynbcr great idea!
What roof rack are you using?
It's the ZROADZ rack. Here's a link: zroadz.com/i-23915798-2021-2024-ford-bronco-roof-rack-4dr-hardtop-pn-z845401.html
