    Great review. How many of those bucket trays will fit into this model?

    i bought a NeedOne 23L humidor from Walmart and set it up this week. so many people have different ways to set up and maintain temp and humidity. this is my first humidor and possibly my last pending on how long this one lasts. i started smoking a pipe 2 years ago and just started to play around with cigars. still have no clue, but went a little nuts on a bid site and decided the money i saved on cigars, i invested in keeping what i bought! anyways. can you just leave the cup of distilled water in the bottom as long as it maintains humidity stated on the digital unit inside? and as far as temp is concerned, you said 64 degrees, cooler the better? even heard i should freeze cigars for a day when i get them. pipe tobacco is so much easier, leave it sealed and your 98 percent good, open it, put it in a jar, lol. thanks for the info

      The temperature of the humidor is completely up to you, I prefer it at 64 and tend to have the best experience smoking at that temperature. In terms of the humidity with a cup of distilled water, my advice would be to get some of the gel beads from Amazon and use those. I have another video on my channel about using Orbeez to season a humidor, I recommend checking that video out. “Use Orbeez in your humidor?!”

    One or a few of the new NeedOne's have an ionizer that eliminates orders inside the unit. Just now sm9ming 4 a dy it has effected flaver. A few dys of opening dr a few times handled that. Airpurifier takesv8 hrs to eliminate oder in room. Wonder what eliminating ceder oder would do?

    I wonder if that slight tint you noticed on the glass is a uv filter...

    • @CigarShowTim
      @CigarShowTim  Před 3 měsíci

      That very well may be the reason. Thank you for your input.

    Should you unplug it, during seasoning?… and do you need to calibrate a hydrometer… again, thanks 😊

    • @CigarShowTim
      @CigarShowTim  Před 3 měsíci +1

      I left mine plugged in so the temp and humidity adapt to each other. I always put a second and or third hygrometer in my humidor so I know where it’s really at.

    Once it is seasoned … does it need seasoning a second time??

    • @CigarShowTim
      @CigarShowTim  Před 3 měsíci +1

      No, just the one time unless it gets dried out.

    Could you possibly do me a BIG favor. Give me the WIDTH and DEPTH, or I should say LENGTH dimensions of the cedar drawer? I just purchased the 26L and wish to purchase a cedar drawer, but I can only find ones that are for the 23L and am wondering if the 23L drawer will be te proper size for my 26L. Also what might be of further help fro proper sizing is the WIDTH and DEPTH of the interior. Thanks in advance.....

    Youve never experienced any condensation issues? The 48L is giving me a headache because of the condensation that builds up in the back when i have the temp lower than 70

    • @CigarShowTim
      @CigarShowTim  Před 4 měsíci +1

      No I haven’t, that’s new to me. What humidification are you using?

    • @Thesmpc
      @Thesmpc Před 4 měsíci +1

      @@CigarShowTim I use 62rh bovedas. And the room I keep it in stays at 71-74

    • @CigarShowTim
      @CigarShowTim  Před 4 měsíci +1

      @nykingyn12 interesting, do you have the drain port in the back plugged?

    • @Thesmpc
      @Thesmpc Před 4 měsíci +1

      @CigarShowTim right now not completely. I fed a small pc fan through to maybe help with it. But it still does it. Plugged completely or not it always does it. And funny thing is I have my old newaircc300h right next to it with same temp and rh and never has given me this problem

    • @CigarShowTim
      @CigarShowTim  Před 4 měsíci +1

      @nykingyn12 interesting! My only thought would be to empty it out from all boveda and humidification. I think maybe there isn’t a tight seal so there’s a moisture buildup due to a bad seal.

  • @frankied7576
    @frankied7576 Před 4 měsíci +1

    Tim- did you have to plug the drain hole in any of yours? I could not keep the humidity until I did.

    • @CigarShowTim
      @CigarShowTim  Před 4 měsíci

      I have not needed to in any of mine but I’ll test it and see how it does with holding humidity in my gel beads longer. This unit I’ll still be using the integra-boost.

    • @Ghostblaze1
      @Ghostblaze1 Před 4 měsíci +1

      @@CigarShowTim which last longer in your opinion, integra boost or boveda?

    • @CigarShowTim
      @CigarShowTim  Před 4 měsíci +1

      @Ghostblaze1 integra boost, the gel gets absorbed slower with more consistency in my opinion.

  • @Ghostblaze1

    I’m weary of these thermoelectric humidors. Most of them are made in China junk.

    Cant see most of your videos as they have restricted them. No idea why no longer see you on rumble either

    • @CigarShowTim
      @CigarShowTim  Před 4 měsíci

      Everything automatically uploads to rumble as last I checked. If you’re not logged in you probably won’t be and to see them as they are mostly age restricted to 18 and up.
