Making a Hand Plane Till from Scrap Lumber

I still have a bunch of off cuts from building our log cabin. Most of the 4 x 10 white pine roof beam off cuts are at least 3 feet long. While many contain the pith of the tree, resawing them allows me to get several good quality boards out of each off cut. These boards were perfect for making tills for my hand planes and hand saws.
