You can see here why he is so valuable. He understands the tech and more importantly, he understands the people. Adding to that, he is able to bridge between them, pointing everyone in the right direction, and doesn't even want to take the credit. A very unique combination of skills, cool to see!
I know this is a branch off your complete interview, but I wanted to thank you for breaking these down like you've done. Also want to add that out of all Jim Keller's interviews, I've found yours the most... genuine.
Go AMD ftw!
Dr Ian thank you for these videos. I can assure you whatever Jim has built i wouldnt dare call them potatoes!.
And he is why i took my entire income tax return and bought all the shares I could of AMD at 1.88 a share. Original thought was if it worked out I would be able to take gains and build a top of the line system. That was the best investment I ever made.
Amd is fantastic!!!
Thank you, Legend!
Inspiration creativity makes your craft an art 🎨
Im just 14 second in this video and already going to add a like to your video Ian. Really rooting for your success now that you're on your journey.
This man and lisa su, both saved my favourite company, i' m very grateful.
Had it since early summer 2016 when it was $4/share.
To the moon, baby!!
Zen good chip
Somewhere between 20 and 80 percent 🤣😂
ZEM arm never came to be right??
You have to specify which time at AMD. The guy was the lead architect on K8
Not sure what you mean? Jim Keller literally saved AMD and is directly responsible for their technological success today (ZEN) and its future long after he left.
