What I Eat In A Day
    What Supplements I Take
    What (Fertility) Books I Read
While my meals in this vlog are focused on my fertility journey, these are almost the same meals I’ve been eating throughout my fitness journey, the macros are just a bit different. I was previously eating 30% protein, 40% carbs and 30% fats. I now eat 30% protein, 25% carbs and 45% fats.
If you have any experience with changing your diet for your fertility journey, I would love to hear how!! Anything you’d add to this video? I’d love to hear, I’m still learning, myself! :)
Thanks for all the love and support, as always! Can’t wait to share my next egg retrieval update! I get the final results tomorrow 🤞 wish me luck!! 😀

It always baffles me how avocados are mentioned together with Mediterranean. There are no avocados in the Mediterranean and no one ate them there until recently, when they began importing them from Central America as they became globally popular. They are amazing, and super healthy and are definitely great for fertility. But us (Mediterraneans) don’t normally eat them and we do eat red meat, especially lamb. So this is quite contradictory. Not this video per se but the message about Mediterranean fertility diet that’s out there in general :)

I love your channel. What I love is that you are so real through your journey and on your fitness you are also so real and transparent about how we women struggle with bloating and training. Sometimes we are so hard with ourselves just by believing what we see on social media , sometimes people hide what they do in order to achieve what is consider a perfect body. Most importantly how we struggle after we have been through a pregnancy. Would love to see videos once you get pregnant and how you return after having a baby. Best of luck to both of you and much blessings on this journey.

Hey a really good trick for rice when it’s going hard & it’s also good for the beef when dry. Add like a tablespoon of water to the rice cover it with a wet paper towel and microwave it. I promise you it will help soften it right up!

    I am gluten/dairy/soy/corn/sugar free.
I eat healthy fats like avocado and coconut milk which I include in my smoothies. I eat pasture raised/hormone free eggs, beef and chicken. I eat wild caught salmon. I only drink filtered water which I drink out of my glass water bottle. I take prenatal, cod liver oil pills, CoQ10, Vitamin D, Liver pills and probiotic as my supplements. I drink bone broth about 3-4 times a week. Oh and I also add a green super food to my smoothie.
I have a 7 year old son but I’m ttc baby#2 naturally so I’ve been on this path the last few months.
    Good luck to you 🙂

Rigatoni eats veggies, too! So cute! Anna I have a question about eating that isn't infertility related... I noticed that in the regular meal plan of the app the recipes are mainly with chicken, there is only one with minced beef. Is there a reason for that? Can I sometimes substitute chicken for beef? Is there a suggested limit of consumption of red meat per week? I wish you and Luca all the best for IVF! I'm following your infertility journey and am impressed of how strong you are! Keep going!

The gluten/dairy thing is so true ! I’m surprised your doctors didn’t speak about meat, eggs, and fish though. It’s much better to buy organic animal products. Same problem : lots of hormones and pesticides, especially in the US. Also, about olive oil, it’s good to eat it raw, but not cooked, it has a low smoke point and doesn’t handle heat. Avocado oil is great to use as cooking oil :)

Even here in Europe, processed foods are processed foods. Breads, pastas and pastry are still highly refined processed food like products usually with a bunch of other questionable chemical ingredients.
How ever bad the term "low carb" sounds to some people, it usually just means not eating processed foods and eating a *balance* of whole foods. It looks like you have a good balance there! ....and, spinach and avocado are perfect smoothie partners!

Hi Anna!! I hope you are doing well! I love your personality, your videos are one of my faves!! I soooo agree with you on dairy in USA/CANADA vs Europe!! I am originally from Russia, but I live in Canada. I try to be completely dairy free in Canada as I noticed that it causes crazy acne for me. My dilemma has always been the fact that when I lived in Russia I ate so much dairy and had no skin issues what so ever! Every time I go home to visit my family I indulge into all of the cheeses, milks, ice cream etc as it tastes sooo much better home, and I never ever have skin issues!! In fact, my skin is always better when I come back! This totally makes sense now!! :)

There is a brand called Ecolution that has a Bliss line which is a non-toxic nonstick cookware line (plenty of other lines out there too, just a good place to start if you’re curious about it). I had such a struggle with the amount of protein and calcium needed during this twin pregnancy, so im very curious if your dr ended up saying anything about continuing to be dairy free. I have endometriosis, which why i was shocked more than 3 dr's have said not to worry about being dairy free or even worry about the endometriosis during pregnancy.
